There's a girl in my orgo lab section that I'm looking to ask out soon, but I'm not sure what to make the date. I've talked with her a decent bit, but never outside of class or lab. I've told a friend of hers already that I think she's cute and she (the friend) was encouraging. "I could see it," her friend said.

In past threads on here, people suggested going for coffee, a study date, or going for a walk, but all of these seem weird or unnatural to me. I honestly don't like coffee, and the two coffee shops on campus are usually just filled with people studying. With a study date, I feel like it would be weird for me to suggest it cuz I've done significantly better than her on the tests so far and I feel like it might be insulting her intelligence or something. A walk honestly sounds ideal, but how the fuck would I ask her to do that? That seems like something that would have to be spontaneous.

I honestly want to just ask her on a dinner date. I have significant money and a car, and it worked just fine in high school.
