A man doesn’t ask a woman directly how she feels about him, he does so in a non-verbal manner. That’s what this “kino escalation” is. Get close, into her bubble, see how she reacts (This is her non-verbal answer BTW), she stays in, that’s a “yes”’ she moves out, that’s a “no”. Escalate and go further every steps in a timely manner and that’t it.

Educate yourself: if you have not "felt" their interest in you strongly, they are not interested. No need to ask.
