I'm an introvert by nature but recently I've been getting out of my shell more and I notice when I approach anyone, guys, gays or girls I tend to get into this extrovertic mood or something. I start talking loudly, being silly and out going. But when I'm alone I like to be alone and go back into my introvert mode. So here's the thing. Whenever I'm done talking to someone or being an extrovert in front of them I tend to become sad cuz I have this thing inside me saying "you know this isn't your real self, you're just pretending in front of people". Now, here's what's confusing. this so called extrovert side of me just pops up when I meet someone, it's not like I pretend to be it. Sometimes I try to be my introvert self with people but I can't even be heard by anyone when I'm like that. It's like the exact opposite of my extrovert self (well, obviously). also, I feel sometimes when I'm extrovertic i become so vulnerable. according to the book models, thats a good thing but I almost always feel it gets off hand. So guys what am I? Am I actually pretending? What's going on? TBH, I'd like to be my introvert self with people but is it possible to be an outspoken, out going introvert? does anyone else have this same problem? p.s I want to thank everyone here, I've been learning a lot from this sub reddit. thank you all for your posts, videos, encouragement and comments. Thank you for your comments in advance.
