Reflecting on interactions I had with people this past semester, I realized that a recurring thing happened to me with multiple people.
I would approach someone after class and have a conversation with them, sometimes I got a number, sometimes I didn't feel it was the right time to ask so I didn't.
Either because of personal reasons or because they weren't into it, I felt like they weren't interested so I cooled my jets. I wasn't mean to them or anything, I just wasn't as interested in talking to them.
Later, this happened with different people, they would go out of their way to talk to me. They would be very friendly, they would touch me, and be very interested in me. This was a drastic change from before, when they seemed to ignore me.
What happened here?
They didn't seem at all interested, and then suddenly it was like they were trying to over compensate or something. Then the next time I saw them it was like before, though I imagine thats because I didn't reciprocate.
