Credibility of tips and infields online

Generally speaking, credibility is extremely low. In case of many seduction "gurus", it's unofficially known that they are conmen, who are average or even bad at actual seduction. In other words, many of the them are claiming they can teach you something they cannot do themselves.

In case of the infield videos, many people have noticed, that many seduction "gurus" who are average/bad at real world seduction, somehow look competent/effective at the videos. In some cases, it's known for 100% the videos are fake and that the "guru" is using female friends, or paid actresses/models/prostitutes. One such case (paid actress) was exposed publically - in the case of Tom Torero, but it's only because the actress put the job in her online resume. But in other unofficially known cases, there is no publically presentable proof. For example a certain company is hiring young girls with a non-disclosure agreement, under threat of a heavy financial penalty - so the girls will not speak about it publically.

Many people who got involved heavily into the PUA community and who have met various "gurus" in real life, especially outside of the seminar/workshop environment, have noticed that there is a huge, huge amount of dishonesty in this industry. In fact, among such people that I know, there is a consensus that dishonesty is the rule, not the exception. You can also hear it from many of the "gurus", if you can get them to be honest with you - especially when drinking in a private setting. Many of them will tell you something like "yes, I'm lying to people, but the money is good and if I didn't do that, somebody else would rip them of".

BTW There is a certain PUA, Aaron Sleazy, who wrote a free ebook about how toxic the PUA community/industry is. I'd say he is wrong about some things, but generally right about the whole picture.
