A lot of guys have problems approaching because they're anxious. This is me during the day, but if I can come up with a good opener I find that initial approach pretty easy at night even if I'm not drinking.

The issue is, once I get into an interaction, my nerves fire up and my social brain turns off. I blurt things without thinking because I cannot come up or filter from the bucket of thoughts in my head something I think is more entertaining or engaging quickly in fast-moving environments like bars and clubs. My creativity/spontaneity are inconsistent and quickly fizzle. I go into fucking simp mode!

Alcohol does a lot to tamp this down, but I end up paying for it later in the week with sleep loss and knock-on bouts of depression.

If you've found a no-bullshit cure to fix this anxiety I'm open to suggestions. I've already read about just continuing to grind sets or improve other aspects of my life, but if there's anything else I can do besides this I'd love to hear how other guys have attacked this problem.
