For the record im no PUA, borderline AFC. Hope this is the right place to post this.

I was hanging out listing to music in the library (small), i notice a pretty girl walk in and look around but all the tables were full. Tables were round sit four people comfortably, i was the only one at my table, and there were two other guys by themselves at their table, skip ahead she looks at me an asks to sit down at mine, i smile say sure. (sits down to my right)

Skip a bit im nervous an for the first few minutes it was a little awkward on my part, finally started small talk with off an on studying, which she was doing to. Everytime id ask her a question she seemed open no big, she asked a few. skip a bit more her friend comes in nervous again (she sits directly in front of me), minor small talk get them both laughing off an on. skip ahead few little more a guy friend comes in she talks to him i can see her motion to sit down, he sits between the girls, i AFC'd by not acknowledging him in any real way.

The part im wondering as while she was talking to him every time she would tilt her head, cover her face with papers kinda lean on her hand so the back of her head was facing me. She basically blocked me out, but im wondering is that what the hiding of the face is about? is this common? what can i do just involve my self in their convo in a way?
