Typically as a girl If I was interested I would say “I’m busy Saturday, but are you free Sunday?” So the guy knows I’m interested and we can negotiate times.

As the asker of the date, it may be nice for you to say “let’s get together for drinks this week, when are you free for happy hour?” She’ll either ghost you if she’s not interested, make up an excuse or give you a time (assuming this is online dating FYI).

I wouldn’t be using my Saturday’s up for dates ever…that’s for new leads. She didn’t counter with another day so she gets left on read for a couple days until I feel like re-engaging. It’s her loss she said no, you have to wait days for a second chance with me. That’s not my ego, that’s just math, to the bottom of my leads she goes.

Maybe even before that, ask what works for them. Either you'll get an answer, or you'll know she isn't interested. She might give you an answer of being completely busy for a long, vague time period. It's hard to tell, sometimes people are busy. If she doesn't say something along the lines of text me next week, when their schedule frees up, or some other affirmation of interest, there's a good chance she isn't into it. Save yourself stress and move on. This is all anecdotal. If I'm totally wrong, someone please correct me.
