So I'm here to discuss everyone's experiences with dating apps (Bumble, OKC, Eharmony, Tinder, etc.) I've found that the ease of being able to find a date is a poison. So many girls or guys that you can date yet most of them seem disrespectful. How have your experiences been using dating apps? What's your ratio of success/let downs?

My story is using Bumble/OKC has given me bad experiences. At first, communication is great. You go out on a date, everything seems to click. She's flirting, smiling laughing and you really feel like hey this girl is a winner. Maybe my luck will change. Last date even invited me to her place, we kissed, flirted more and she seemed happy. Fast forward two days and she tells me that she can't see a relationship happening with me and that she had a great time. I can give her credit for actually being upfront and telling me instead of the others who have chose to ignore communication and that is one of the most frustrating things to me is being ignored. In a world full of tech and ways to communicate that is just downright mean/disrespectful.

For me, the rejection hurts. I've been single awhile and its a shot at my confidence, ego and just general happiness. I've never posted here before, I do read posts here and try to help my case. Does anyone have advice for me on how to be more successful with dating? Also do you pay for your dates or go dutch? I know traditionally the guy pays but it seems like a waste if it doesn't end well... Thanks for reading and hopefully I didn't break any rules in this subreddit.
