TL:DR:

AMOG comes up to you, you lower his value by getting him to talk about himself and seem insecure. All you are trying to do is make him feel insecure.

Call me a sadist, but I think all interaction can be analyzed. Seduction is about being the better man. For a long time, I wrongly believed I could convince people who I was. I was that guy who talked about himself for way too long, hoping to accrue enough positive points in my personal lecture to win. People's opinions of you are dependent on their interaction with you.

Something everyone in this community must be aware of are AMOGs. They are the alpha males of the group, a term coined by Tyler Durden of RSD.

I am not in a frat, but go to parties with frat brothers and sorority sisters. These guys all vehemently believe they are better, they believe because they are in a frat they should get laid.

Getting laid is simple,

1) Open

2) Attract (push-pull, build rapport, make her want you)

3) Close

This is pretty intuitive. However, attraction is complicated. Especially when you're talking to the HB9 and some AMOG comes up trying to steal your sarge. These guys are cockblocks.

So, how do you deal with cockblocks and AMOGs?

Tyler Durden says that the best way is to be polite to him, but to act disinterested in his rap/ accomplishments.

This is the best way to deal with them. You raise your value by being a good guy and not an asshole. His value goes down because he's busy talking about himself.

Here's something that happened to me:

I'm talking to a HB8.5 at this party (A short girl with short hair dyed pink, she was wearing bright colours, and heavy eye and lips makeup, an ass like you couldn't believe). We're getting along great, I'm holding her by the waist and we're getting along well, laughs are being shared, drinks are being shared, the whole deal.

I decided I wanted to go dancing, so I did for a little bit. When I came back, this AMOG is all over her. This guy is easily four, five inches taller than me.

I go up and introduce myself, grabbing the girl by the waist. He was talking to her face.

Me: "Hey buddy, you liking the party?"

AMOG: "Yeah, the dude throwing it is a good friend of mine."

I didn't know the guy throwing the party, personally.

Me: "Oh sweet, I'd love to meet him, do you see him anywhere, brother?"

AMOG: "Yeah, he's by the pool, the guy in the green."

Me: "Yeah, I see him. Have you met HB8.5?

Obviously, they were talking before, but I reintroduce them as strangers. After a few more back and forth, he left.

I had no problem with the guy, he was pretty cool. But, I wanted this girl.

I never degraded him, I never put him down, I was always courteous. However, I guided the conversation and had already knocked him off his feet when I came up to them and put my arms around the HB8.5.

Most cases of dealing with AMOG's will be like this. If you have better game, it'll show and she'll go with you. Just play the part, and let the situation unwind.

However, there are a few cases where it'll be tougher. His game will be as good, or better than yours.

There will be guys that are better than you, at that moment. Your goal is to become better than them, your goal is to be more valuable than them.

I have definitely been outgamed, it happens to everyone. I'm sure it's happened to the masters and gurus, I'm sure it's happened to celebrities and superstars, it's inevitable.

You, my fellow sedditors, have the benefit of being exposed to the deep psychological world that is "seduction."

The best thing to keep in mind, is to be more valuable. What you need to do is lower his value, destroy his frame, and exceed his expectations.

The best way to be excellent at pickup is the age old lesson of not giving a fuck. If he comes up and starts knocking you of your frame, you don't budge. If he comes up and starts playing you, you don't play along. In cases like this, just ignoring him and what he's saying works excellently.

This is a lesson that can be learned out in the field, go out there, and don't be nervous about being women. They are fantastic, they might not all be super bright or charming, but women are fantastic. Having beautiful women with you is one of the most rewarding things a man can experience.
