You didn't do anything wrong, women basically just decide if they do or don't want to fuck you before they come over, and they only come over if they do, so she isn't going to change her mind because you're being polite. Last time I was too polite with a girl she literally grabbed my hand and put it on her pussy.

Don’t beat yourself up over this. You did great. I’ll add a couple thoughts; 1. You have to strike when the iron’s hot. Well done holding her hand after the restaurant. If the sexual tension was building up at this point, maybe go for a walk and escalate to making out. This way you could have asked her “front seat or back seat?” when getting to your car. 2. You spent too much time chatting. By the time you got to your place she was ready for action but you kept dragging it out. Consequently, her arousal levels faded away. She clearly wanted to be intimate with you. Be more decisive and escalate quicker with the next women you date.

Well, most likely she was not hot enough to make it all the way, but it was not necessarily your fault. You need to create that tension and sexual desire that will just melt all barriers and make transition to sex natural, sometimes it may be really troublesome.

Next time make yourself comfortable at one place, focus on one laidback activity and keep decently high temperature in your room. Raise the tension very slowly. When she puts some hard objections, instead of saying "Good, I won't do anything", say something more like "Yeah, but you look so sexy", make one step backwards and then continue after some time.
