Idealizing a girl -> attaching more value to a girl than she really has -> placing her on a pedestal-> acting needy/simpy/weak -> she doesn’t respect you -> she doesn’t love you.

Reality is the enemy of love... You will get it someday. It's unsustainable. Just enjoy your time with that person as long as it lasts. Then, don't force it, let it go and be thankful for the experience.
