37 here. I do cold approaches everywhere. Cafes, grocery store, gym, any place really. Online dating - but it takes knowing the right approach. Women are still around, just a bit harder to engage with.

Do you have friends who has other single friends with similar interests as you? You could ask them? There is always the dating websites. I met my boyfriend on tinder.

I think you need to go to a festival or or whatever with a friend who is good at photography without making it look to professional. Then just have a good time, act natural and care about the light. The light will determine how good you look.
I think it could also help to make a good profile text that isn't to long, shows who you are without giving to much away and throw in some humour.

Aw damn. Ok how about you just go with your best friend and take some pictures and then hopefully they won't be bad? 😅😂
It's more about showing that you can have a good time then looking like a hunk. Women likes a nice smile in a beautiful setting. Even mid laugh can be good.

Its good to gain new friends with different interests then the ones you already got. I think that's a great idea.
You can always hire a professional photographer and tell the person that you don't want it to look to perfect and it needs to look casual.
Well there you go. You still got it. Take that confidence and run with it.

Public dance classes. Clubs/meetups on the meetup website. Walking a dog in a popular public park. Church events (if you’re religious-has massive female to male ratios). Night classes.
