Are you thin? It’s kinda code for being a stemlord. That or fat and with a neck beard.
People can tell what major you do based on looks - it’s pretty obvious for many majors. People who are obsessed with their looks usually don’t go into stem and thus most people in stem look like shit.
There’s this whole nature vs nurture thing with major selection. For instance - are all nba players tall because they play nba or did they go into nba because they were tall? You know which it is … stem is the same way.

You probably pointed out some logical flaw in something they said, and since they didn’t spend any time on logic in their education they take that as hostile and attempt to pigeonhole you into a type so they don’t have to reflect on themselves.
