Once you get past 50-100, I start wondering what’s going on with the person because it sounds like you’re bad at figuring out what you want. It depends a lot on their relationship history overall. That said, if it was more like, “no I was just single for a while and I wanted to be that way and slut it up for that period of my life” then I’d respect it. My exwife was like that and I was fine with it - as long as it’s done respectfully.

Lotta conditionals in there, bub. The reason why men in their 30s avoid women in their 30s is because those conditionals are so rare for women in their 30s. Far easier to get those conditions with women in their 20s.

Oh, I notice the women who don’t say these things. I ask people directly - it’s not like women come out to me and say they’d abandon a partner for crying. I ask them these questions. Most of the time I ask - they say they’d leave. Women are far more critical of men having emotions than vice versa.

Also, a person choosing to grind than stay with you for free isn’t the flex you think it is She thought she could do better - is the point. She couldn't and will never do better. She's struggling to find any men who want her. It wasn't just naivety but also hubris that lead her this way.

These stories are the exceptions, not the rule. I wouldn't say that. These are definitely far more common than you think. I also know many women who have openly said that if their partner got depression, cried in front of them, or did other things that they themselves have done - they would likely leave them. This is including women who are married for 10+ years and have children with said person. I really think you're underselling just how prevalent this behavior is and how normalized it is. It…

Women who make similar to I do are exceptionally uncommon and tend to want even more money than I have. Very few gals out there are making $500k+/yr and then want a guy who makes the same. Usually they want someone making $2m+/yr and - well - they can demand it because there are as many guys making that as women making what they do. It’s wild but men just work way more and make way more fucking money. So unless you got lucky in college or something - you’re always going to have this huge imbalan…

I expected the same effort. I already cleaned and cooked and did housework more often than she did. You’re a bit stupid if you think I’m not capable of that. It’s joke work.

Told her that we couldn’t be together if she continued with the decision to not make any money and contribute to the family in the future. I didn’t want my kids to have this woman as a role model and I knew in a divorce that she’d have to leave the area we were living in (SF) because she couldn’t afford to stay around post-divorce. I didn’t want to deal with my kids not having a mother nearby (I’d have primary custody) - so I just cut it short by avoiding the whole issue. She thought because I w…

You’re using extreme outliers that no one in any community uses as a real comparison when they talk about getting status or money. They’re not saying you need tens of millions or celebrity status and then you can attract women. Those are unrealistic and not applicable to anyone since those two things are almost entirely based on luck.

100%. Literally. This isn’t even a joke. These women exist and are always looking to date somewhat older men. Problem is - batshit insane and probably very toxic. Upside - you could theoretically get them to a healthier place. Downside - they’ll probably leave you once they’re healthier because that’s what ladies tend to do when you’ve helped them get to a better place mentally. It’s super ironic but yeah - they were only with you cause they were broken and will only stay with you while broken. …

Yep. Can confirm. Am millionaire with motorcycles. It does not in fact attract women - it’s often a deterrent if anything. Many women that I like see it as too risky and dangerous and think such a partner has a death wish. This is true even of my male counterparts. Large risk taking isn’t a thing among the highly educated.

In my case, they hadn’t seen my dick before expressing this. I would also say below average maybe but I am above average - just not huge. So, I think I straddle the line there for some.

Eh. I think it’s more related to her finding me more attractive. She specifically said things related to that which indicated she found me more sexually attractive than some other men. You can think she’s just a gal who really wants anal and just needs someone to feel safe around but I don’t think it’s that at all. Some dudes are seen as more attractive to some women and they want different things with those guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/23 03:37 PM

This literally isn’t true. Some women do want different things with different partners. I’ve literally been told by some women - “I’m not really into anal usually but I want to do it with you.” I’d normally believe what you’re saying if I didn’t have lived experience saying otherwise. 🤷‍♂️ Truth is - some gals do want different things with different partners.

Status and money. Looking back - I would’ve probably gone into law, finance, or medicine if I had known what would happen. I’d rather be an IB, doctor, or lawyer at this point. All are much more respected - even if some of those make less than I do. 🤷‍♂️

I find the discussion around sex tourism to be weird. I don't get this idea that if you go to X country you'll suddenly find a 10/10 hottie and she'll be such a great partner and yadda yadda. Like have any of you ever actually been to these countries and actually tried to be in a relationship with any of these women? I have. They're often not much different than back home except they come with a lot of cultural baggage - which might be real patriarchal shit you don't want to deal with. (For inst…

Feasible for an average guy? Down near impossible. How do you look for it? Probably join your local poly community and set your standards for well below average looking women. (Poly people are known fuggos - it’s bad, son.) There’s no issue for some women for a guy who only wants sex. However, you both need to be on the same page. I’ve had sex with women where there’s an agreement that it’s just sex and nothing else. (I’m a below average looking guy but I set my standards through the floor for t…

I can’t say status indicates sexual success. You can have status and have low sexual success cause you’re fugly. Status is neither a requirement nor a bonus - depending on the individual. However - it can push someone over the edge who is otherwise not-hot. Example - you’re a tall white dude but maybe not the best in the face. You however are a leader in your social group/scene/hobby/whatever. This is where it could push you from generic tall white dude to chadlite/Chad - within your group. It w…

I think I get what you mean to some extent. If you're looking at online dating profiles - you might be thinking, "this is a party girl - I'll avoid" but you don't really know is what you're saying. Maybe you're missing out on a great gal but you don't know because you assume either way.

I think a couple of those attributes come along with the incel labeling. People were always like, “oh…” when they met me and realized I drove sports cars, ride motorcycles, do woodworking, play sports, am well traveled and educated, and have a bunch of varied hobbies that are masculine but respectable. On top of being a great partner and clearly being the better half of our couple - even though they liked my wife a lot. Unfortunately, it was still hard for some to overcome their biases and could…

Varies. Most of her friends would be too afraid to say something directly and publicly in a group but privately they would mention stuff. But, it was really the peer effect that was most problematic. Not getting invited to things as much without having met me because they assumed since I worked in tech I must be neckbeard-incel-misogynist-alt-right-anarcho-crypto-ghoul. Women are also more obsessed with status than men are. So, it’s important that your job/status reflects the Instagram version of the lifestyle she wants. You need the income and the status. People often assume status means you need to be famous/etc but it’s really about just doing something she can be proud of talking to her friends about. I’m a millionaire but because I work in tech I’m seen as a blight to most women’s image. I might make hundreds of thousands more a year than her but because I…

Where did I say that? I don’t recall ever saying that. I don’t really meet almost any women who find me attractive. Like I said, maybe 1/1000 but then they’re usually pretty unattractive themselves (anxiety disorders, no job/low paying, overweight, emotionally unavailable, doesn’t want a family/kids, doesn’t want a relationship, etc.) No one finds these women attractive nor are they appropriate for a relationship because they’re a mess even beyond the physical aspects.

I'm a man. The issues I have with my gender mostly don't come down to what men overall are doing - it's what a *few* men are doing that is generally fucking up the entire dynamic. Which is a *very important* difference. In the same way that we blame the patriarchy for many societal woes - we need to realize that the patriarchy is a bit like capitalism - it's mostly the *top men* who are enforcing this patriarchy and using it to fuck over everyone. Unfortunately, I've never had that happen with a single woman. I'm in my 30s and no woman has ever become more attracted to me over the long term. It's either pretty much off the gun attracted (cause they into freaky looking guys for whatever reason) or nothing at all. The "long game" isn't really a game though for me. There's no opponent. When people talk about playing the "long game" they mean specifically with certain individuals. They don't mean "be out there and die alone". The 1/1000 doesn't mean it's someone who is a good match for me either btw. The good matches for me are less than 1% of the population because of my socioeconomic status. I need someone of similar socioeconomic status and that's really hard to find when you control for being single. (I…

Yeah, unfortunately where I live - women aren't that available in other avenues. When you live in major cities like SF or NYC - people are always in a rush with whatever they're doing. When I go to Trader Joe's and other such stores - there's literally over a hundred people in this tiny little place that are all competing to get the fuck out as soon as possible. It's harder to meet people organically like that in big cities because everyone is on a mission. Similarly, very few of those people ar…

Nope. Attraction is all I need. I’m great at conversation and other stuff. But overwhelmingly, women are not attracted to me at all. It’s a bit rough. I do wish that somehow I was one of those folks where personality or something would push people over the edge to like me but I’ve learned that I’m not that type at all. I’m mostly a guy who you’re either attracted to because you’re an absolute freak (these are very very rare, like less than 1/1000) or you’re not at all and ever will be.

Alright - another update on the whole dating coach thing. It’s basically a disaster. The guy was like, “I’ve had people who are less physically attractive and have worse profiles than you who get dates from these apps.” And I’m like, “ok, so what am I doing wrong?” And he’s basically got nothing in response to that. He’s like… just keep trying, play the long game. And I’m like… bro wtf. If I’m not getting matches then how the fuck do I play the long game?! Long game implies there’s an opponent! …

One problem is that at most ages - single men outnumber single women. I think it’s only once you get past 50 does it get near equal - I’m not sure how they evaluate single status either off the top of my head. You can’t have more single men at every bracket and just say “it balances out cause they date older men” - that’s not how it works. I just have a hard time believing the only reason is that men are dating younger women - especially when age gap relationships are so incredibly taboo right n…

Almost no one is studying it, which is part of the problem. Most of these surveys are garbage and using very old surveying mechanisms that were born out of the 50s and 60s. The reason is because they don't want to change the methodology at all because if you do then you can't use it with historical data. Anecdotally - I know a lot of women who are sharing partners. They often just don't know until they're "breaking up".

I suspect one reason bisexual women often pair up with men is also because women don't make the first move. Only lesbians are going to make the first move and there's a much smaller amount of them than bisexual women (I think they also have a preference for lesbians - not bisexual women). In general, bisexual women will never make the first move and thus will rely on whoever makes the first move... Which will be men.

One thing not mentioned that plays a large role is the natural asymmetric birth rates and lowering of male mortality combined with male dominated immigration creating a large "surplus" of men especially in the younger age groups. It's worth noting that women consistently vote for and support immigration to a larger degree than men and benefit more from it (in social-sexual options and economically). So, natural birth rates is accurate. Pretty much everywhere - boys are born more often than women…

The worst part is that a lot of these UMC women want to be with me but don’t make any money. They‘ve been bankrolled by mom and dad for so long - now they need a partner to keep paying. “I shouldn’t have to cook. I live in a major city.” is kind of the mentality tbh. Same with cleaning. It’s all “beneath” them. It’s not something I wish to pass onto my children.

Nope. Just looking for a reasonable woman. No one in my circle would be considered good looking by modern standards - lol. I’m definitely shooting low here. It's more common than you think. As a 1%er man - this is actually almost all I can find out on the market. Not even joking. Most women I run into don't cook, don't clean, don't do anything. If they get into a relationship with a man - they expect him to pay the rent and do most chores. They're not gonna be making it up by doing all the household stuff. There are more men than women below 35 - where the majority of people live single lives. There is also a significant amount of women dating one guy. It is not as common for women to be dating multiple dudes at the same time. It is common for women to be side-hos though.

Just doesn’t really align with reality though. I know lots of guys with good jobs, physically active, mentally well, etc. and they still are single. I’m in the same boat - arguably even better off than them in some regards. As a man - physical attractiveness and being in the right place at the right time are paramount. It declines quickly after women’s sexual market peak because men’s sexual market value is in relation to women’s. The amount of women who are single, childless, and put together after 25 falls off a cliff. This means that for men - they are all competing for a very small percentage of women. Therefore, your SMV tanks super hard due to sheer volume of men competing for one commodity. Big cities is a vague term, I agree. Maybe I should’ve clarified. I do think anything over 500k pop is probably big city territory - which San Antonio definitely qualifies as. So does Louisville. But nyc is a whole other ballpark compared to most any city in the USA.

Idk why we all act like women are super overweight in the USA. This is a rural and old people thing. If you’re in a major city like Seattle, sf, or nyc - most people under 35 are not even remotely overweight.

Men who do well in all of Asia are generally just physically attractive men. Especially so if they’re doing well in the rich and developed areas. But typically in those threads - the men are suggesting you go to Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, etc. and get women who are from poorer backgrounds. The women are also not from upper middle class backgrounds either. Those women wouldn’t live in those countries if they were that well off. The same is true in countries like Turkey. Women who are educate…

Hard to say if that's due to white man preference or other races preferences though. The black women preferring same race is a notable difference from other races when it comes to white people.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/23 09:53 PM

Well, white women are highly sought after by all races - so it’s no real surprise they get some variety… White men are desired by many races but black women often don’t want to date them.

Generally, yes. Interracial dating is hard, period. It’s statistically uncommon even though - statistically - it should be the norm. Add in not looking like ideal version of whatever your race offers as a “type” and you’re definitely going to struggle. As someone who is mixed race and looks ambiguous to the point where no one has ever been able to come remotely close to pinpointing my race at all - it is an even bigger challenge. I can’t fit into any niche because fundamentally there is no niche…

False premise. Generally - women don’t listen to men about dating advice nor do they ask them. Women - in general - don’t really need dating advice like men do to begin with. They just sit back and wait for shit to happen. If you’re remotely in a decent place physically, emotionally, financially, and location-wise you’ll never be single more than 3 months as a woman. The same cannot be said of a man. Men can be all that and single for years. This is why dating advice is extremely common for men.…

They’re not invisible I just don’t know them well, or not know them at all This is kind of the point. Unfuckable men are mostly irrelevant to most women. You're not interested in knowing them. You only know about the men who have partners because women show up with their partners to things. It's relatively safe to assume a significant portion of the men you're meeting are single - they just don't have it stamped on their forehead and you're not going to ask.

Yeah, I have a similar issue. I'm not as short nor bald but I have money and it isn't helpful in the search. If I wanted a gold digger - okay but I actually want someone who's closer to an equal. That's basically impossible to find. Women who make anywhere near what I do or have are always looking for guys who make 5x more. It's fucking bonkers. I can't blame them though - they always find the guys! (Even if the guys are like 10+ years older)

the ‘average’ would just go up/become something unattainable. This is the reality. We already see this with sperm donors. We already gatekeep them to an incredibly high level. Short men aren't even allowed to donate sperm and yet women still only go for a small percentage of sperm donors overall. There is a large demand for a certain niche amount of men's sperm. This will always be the way it is even when there is a large set of qualifiers to said sperm to begin with. It is the nature of the bea…

I think the reason these gals aren't as interested is mostly due to the Instagramification and atomization of our society. If we get back third places and lower our emphasis on idealistic bodies from social media (and of ones that are all of the same type!), I do think Billy Bob has a better chance. There is likely some inherent hypergamous nature to a lot of what women do and it isn't all societal conditioning but I think with enough variance in beauty standards for men - women can all find a h…

Driving in the USA in less than 20 years has killed more people than our involvement in the World Wars. For people under the age of 55 - it's the leading cause of nonnatural death. Strong capitalism and corrupt politicians are the reason we don't have public transportation infrastructure.

I'd suggest reading works by Robert Putnam. At least watching an interview or two with him might be helpful. He has some great debates and interviews on YouTube. He talks about third places and in general a social collapse we're experiencing in our society - and how we've been through these before and how things have worked out in the past. Obviously, the past isn't always a predictor of the future but there are some lessons to be learned from his works.

So men should follow TRP, and "do the work" so that you can move closer to the top 20% and spend less time fucking your hand. Or just accept the fact that you're not getting the quality/variety of women that you're looking for. I think one issue here is that although the median is still the same from 2002 to 2012 - it is showing that men below the median are getting worse off because women's statistics were unchanged. I think more specifically - it'd come to the conclusion of not just touching grass but having the return of third places. Not everyone has the ability to go up a full point from cosmetic surgery. Some folks just have issues that surgery cannot fix. Surgery is usually good for removing blunders - it is not good for adding beauty. Even if I did a few more operations - I wouldn’t go up a full point. I’d go up maybe 0.25-0.5. It would require intensive and some risky surgeries too. It would also be quite expensive and costly in time. A lot of men are in the same bucket.

I agree overall but disagree on a few points. I don’t think being an emotional provider is as important as looks and income. I’ve found that you still need to be the breadwinner in order to get a partner. The requirements to be a breadwinner have just gone up. It depends on the views of abortion. If both are willing to abort then it’s equally bad. If they’re unwilling to abort - the married woman is worse. Pulled out a cigarette. Told me they had a job paying like 1/10 what I make. Said they were married after we had already had sex. Took off their mask (masked events). Revealed that they’re pretty socially conservative. Told me they believed in god. Still lived with their parents. The list goes on and on. I don’t really meet many single women but when I do - they have daddy issues. (And god does that make for great sex but also the worst kind of relationship!)

🙌 Damn bro - you hit it hard. This is really most of it. There’s no lack of these gals thanks to daddy dying or leaving. A lot of women really take death from their fathers way harsher than I’ve seen any men do for parental death. It’s on the level of spousal death - maybe worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/23 12:27 AM

You’ll also never find a good partner with this metric, I hate to say. I’ve yet to meet a single woman who is objectively attractive and remotely has her shit together and has been single for six months.

I think the rate is higher for women who are just generally fertile to begin with. Usually you do IVF for women who are struggling to conceive naturally. So, there's some bias in the group sampling there. Either way, I don't really care. It's cheap in the scheme of things - lol.

100%. I literally have lived like this until I met my exwife. She was like, “please, no. You need furniture. I can’t date someone who lives like this!” So I bought really nice furniture. I’ve already helped raise people’s kids. It’s much easier to raise girls. Almost every parent I’ve known is also super happy to have had girls instead of boys - and they usually say the girls have been easier than the boys when they have both. Almost all of society is centered around women’s issues these days. If my girls decide they wanna be executive girl bosses making $10m+/yr then yeah - they’ll run into some glass ceilings but that’s about the only real struggle they’ll face. Most of the is…

I’ll start by not having sons. I’m planning to have children by IVF and will have daughters only. (This is an option IVF provides) The world already has too many men and the world is not kind to men. Almost all women I’ve met for dating are also good with only having daughters. My children will have an incredibly blessed life thanks to incredibly smart and well off parents - and not having to deal with any real challenges in the dating realm like if they were men.

Gymcel is a thing and I’ve seen many of these men in my own life. Facial aesthetics is paramount in our current culture. You’ll likely just differentiate enough with your aesthetic to attract girls who are only into buff dudes. Nope. No correlation, imo. Knew many men who were good friends but couldn’t attract women. Straight men aren’t concerned about how fuckable their male friends are. I’d say this is especially true in nerd circles. So many guys who are good friends and really present and actually quite charming but then none of those dudes get any. It’s cause - looks are way more important to making ground.

BP is more nuanced than that. I’d say it’s closer to RP than BP with your definitions. RP just believes status, wealth, and manipulation can lead to great success. BP says looks is 90%+ of it. RP says it’s only half or not even. RP is old head thinking from pre-90s dating environment. It’s why RP salesman are old AF and why BP content is mostly from under 30s.

Having no food really incentivizes people. Living a meager and shitty life isn’t enough for revolution, comrade. You need to be starving to be willing to challenge the system. All men know what they’re talking about when saying success. A man being able to have sex with a few below average women over a long period of time is not success at all. In the same way that, “oh I’ve been able to have a successful career” when that’s having been a Walmart greeter at three different stores over the last 20 years is not success either. Yes, you’ve had a job. No it is not a success by the way anyone would define it.

This is generally it. It’s superficial stuff but women really don’t like guys who don’t have the superficial image stuff down. Being associated with guys that have the “no bitches” aesthetic even remotely is deeply painful for most women. Your problem is assuming that generally men and women like to be treated the same way. Do you think submissive men are as common as submissive women? Probably should reflect on it and analyze how to treat people different based on the dynamics that people want.

Men definitely don’t have options. What crack are you smoking? The common complaint from women is that men are settling for them because a lot of women show interest in a guy who isn’t a Chad and then that’s the only woman that is interested in that man. So he takes her even though he’s not that interested because it’s the only one who is interested in him. Men overall definitely don’t have options. There are men who make 10x that and have everything locked down. They still get nothing because they’re too short or ugly in the face. Looks is paramount. I know - I’ve been in this position.

I've tried a lot of hobbies. Most hobbies are male dominated. Even for ones where there's supposed to be an even gender ratio - it ends up being mostly single men and married women. It's pretty wild. I have over a dozen hobbies, lol. Personality is fine. Hardly the issue. Again, it's a supply side issue. If my looks were better - I'd get somewhere on apps. If I met more single women in person, I'd be better off there too. Issue is that I can't win online cause ugly and I can't win in person caus…

Why not try for younger women who have promising careers? I'm including these in the group. I'm including women with maximum earnings in their career before they ever hit that. It's a rough market, man. Being non-white doesn't help my case at all in our extremely fetishized market. Racial ambiguity like I have leaves me really leaving in the dust in our current society.

It's just looks. I'm an ugly guy - lol. It doesn't help that I'm short and skinny. IRL - I have similar issues but it's not as pervasive as online. I can usually get average women with bad jobs to be interested in me. It's harder to pull women who make even half or a quarter of what I do - even if they're not attractive themselves. Biggest issue though is just meeting single women. None exist in my social circles and none exist in the hobbies I have too. I mostly meet a fuck ton of married women…

Mm - it really depends. Research is also a vague term here as there’s private and public research. IMO - tech is kinda seen as a monolith even if it isn’t at all. Very few people outside of tech understand the nuance. Soon as you work in tech - you get all the bad associations. I’ve tried to distance myself from saying I work as an engineer (as it often doesn’t really represent all the work I do either and it associates with the worst demo in tech). If so - can guy give examples of places that strike the perfect balance of sufficient options + relatively low pickiness? Extreme example of very picky and lots of options being nyc. Super dense. Ah, yes, the classic "just lift bro" argument. As if your looks are only dictated by the size of your muscles. Man, you gotta touch grass and talk to more people. Equinox is a self-selected crowd. The people in there are above average in everyway. (Facially, height, skin, etc.)

A lot of them don't have good jobs or are willing to contribute meaningfully. For all the preaching of tearing down the patriarchy - they still want someone to pay all their bills... Outside of that - I haven't really seen many on here who have a healthy relationship with the opposite sex. Most women here actively dislike men. There’s more to that than just job. Tech is generally one of the lowest forms of status jobs in the professional world. So you got lucky with height and face genetics. Congrats. Your experience is not going to be typical of most men who go to that gym - so why recommend it when most of the gals aren’t interested.

Meh. I’d rather date someone who has already accomplished something than hoping they’ll accomplish something. It’s often that people get complacent. They get comfortable in a relationship and decide they don’t actually need to climb even though the whole reason you got with them was on the premise they were going to continue climbing.

$350k in NYC trying to date fellow upper-middle/upper-class and wanting to split checks... Exactly. Dime a dozen here in NYC and SF. If you're looking for a gal who is actually worth a damn and contributes something to a relationship - you need to be making $1m+ before she even thinks about your TC being a plus rather than a checkbox. There are some hot girls at the Equinox - I agree. However, the last thing they want is you. These women want an Instagram boyfriend - not just some random guy who is getting into modestly better shape at the gym. Your face and height genetics are going to be paramount for these gals - as they're about as shallow as it gets. Also - there's about as many gay men in Equinox as there are women... So, the odds aren't great, tbh.

Do IVF and only have girls (this is a thing). It’s what I plan to do. The girls will never experience what we do. I’d highly recommend getting over the surgery thing. It limits you. It’s the same as thinking people should just love your skinny body. Yes - ideal world. Realistically - not happening.

I agree with this. It really doesn't matter short of checking a box. You will not be discredited as quickly to women with a higher income than before but it will not elevate you at all. If you're ugly - no amount of money is going to fix your situation.

Money is one of those things where if you make 1x to 3x the woman's - it basically is meaningless other than checking a box (it's checking a box in the same way that "he's alive" is checking a box). If men had that bar - the majority would die alone. Women are uncompromising. Men are. You can easily see this by the number of single and never married men around the USA. That number constantly rises as people age even though men are fewer and fewer due to suicide being over 4x the rate of women. Did you know that close to 10% of men kill themselves before age 40? Women are much happier to die alone than men.

The issue with big cities is that a lot of options creates incredibly picky women. You can often find more success as an average man in smaller cities than in big ones. Women will wait until they run into a man with their standards in big cities - in smaller ones they can’t wait because there aren’t enough opportunities. Social events mostly. Fetishization of white men can co-exist with black women desiring to date black men. It's also a bit of how black women have to be. Black women are cited as often being the least desirable. I don't personally get why anyone cares so much for any race but we live in a society.

The men aren’t kidnapping the women. Let’s be clear. The women have a choice and are choosing to go with the man back to the states - if they choose to do such. Don’t infantilize women like they’re children. Women have the right and ability to choose and should be considered fully capable beings of making their own decisions. You’re acting like women are toddlers and that’s incredibly sexist, demeaning, and objectifying of women.

There’s actually very few of these women. The women in the US aren’t looking for someone who is just stable. They want a lot more than that. They won’t settle for an ugly man who is just stable. That’s the issue. Women abroad sometimes have lower standards and are more focused on stability.

AF/BB women are inherently different than RP men in that RP men know what they are - AF/BB women are in denial about what they are. RP men label themselves. AF/BB women are labeled by others. There isn’t one. Men and women’s sexuality is different. Women aren’t as attracted to a man’s baseline form. Some are attracted to the pinnacle forms you’ll find in a very few men. (Models, etc.) Some skin showing for those women will work but you need to be a model and in pinnacle shape. Both of which ain’t happening. So, basically, there’s nothing. This is why men have such a hard time attracting women physically. You have to attract them emotionally for the overwhelming majority of men.

The high murder rate isn’t to random though in places like Chicago. It’s gang violence. It’s easy to avoid.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/22 03:26 AM

Nah. It’s still way more work for men. Way more. Most men will never see anything out of online dating anyway. Whereas IRL - both men and women get something. Men online will not get anything. Even millionaires online will not get anything - as it’s all looks based. IRL - you can play up different attributes. Online it’s only your face that matters. So it favors women because men are far less selective than women.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 08:58 AM
6

Because women don’t like the process even though it does favor them. They want a meet cute story and not put in any effort when they do meet someone. Online dating does require some effort even if it does favor women very heavily. In person doesn’t because they just sit back and do nothing - literally nothing. The men will approach and they’ll get courted eventually.

Tbh - I don’t think many of these women are meeting randos off IG - they usually have significant mutuals or have met IRL but never made a super solid connection. Women aren’t getting DM’d by random men and saying yes and that’s what leads to most relationships. That’s delusional, bro. These women are mostly getting DM’d by guys they already know or have met. The men could ask these women out IRL but they just do it over IG.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 06:04 AM
5

The reason women are doing this is because A) we need a new boogeyman for big media and B) men who don’t get laid regularly are seen as pathetic and non-manly. So, women do anything they can to encourage the suicidal deaths of men. This is why they use labels like this and other such methods - it’s to encourage men to kill themselves. We see this mentality all over PPD. Why do you think men have 4x the suicide rate of women?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/22 06:02 AM

I’d say even more since the label is too easily thrown around. I really think the vocal angry incel type is maybe 5% of the incel population. Incels are just wildly common in our mainstream life. Ugly combined with bad social skills. I have little to no reason to put in effort for threads when someone will post the same generic copy pasta shit in 8 hours. There needs to be purging plus no allowing of reposts within the same month. I’m fine if this means there’s only 10% of the number of threads.

50/50 should be standard. It should only change when another party is offering to pay more and that should not be expected. For instance - I’ve gone on some trips with a gal who makes 1/10th what I do. (I make a lot) She offers to pay 50/50 or at least her part. I’m fine with that. Later - I’m like, look - I want to treat you and let’s go somewhere even nicer… so I pay for the flights, the hotels, the meals, everything. This is expensive - thousands of dollars. But I’m willing to front it becaus…

The comments so far are so bland and generic that you’re never going to get anything real, op. These women just don’t know. They don’t think about it. They just shop and eventually try something on and find out it fits. They don’t think - ahh what size am I, what colors do I like, what textures do I want, etc. they just shop blindly. This is why you’re seeing takes that sound like they’re from 50s housewives like “I hope he is nice to the help.”

Curious - you work for a top company but do you make top pay? You’re a valedictorian at your university but is it an Ivy League? I actually have never heard of a valedictorian for a university - lol. I mean - it makes sense but I figured there were always too many for it to matter. Many more “successful” women get passed over because this has always stuck out to me - women can earn money but they will never spend it on you. Men earn their money and spend it on their family - that’s often their r…

I do like the concept of this question. I wish people focused on that more than the specifics of your situation. Maybe this would be better asked in a different post without all these details of your own. The truth is - most people don’t care about you or your situation. When people say work on yourself - they’re just telling you to go away. When you ask for advice - people are just saying things so you go away. Someone who cares would check in on you and call you regularly and do things without…

Yep. Those things women do are for other women. I don’t know why women keep trying to say they do it for men when they don’t. Men don’t fucking care and hate that women try to gaslight us into thinking we do when we don’t.

Moving to a major city won’t magically fix it for most men. You’re an above average man as evident by your online dating success. Most men don’t get any dates out of online - let alone sex. Location-cel is definitely an issue for some folks who are in super small communities and there’s no social outlets at all or there’s just no young people period but … moving to a city actually can be worse for many men. When the option pool grows - women become far more choosey than men. Men’s standards stay…

Definitely damaging to both genders. This has been going on for decades now though. I suggest reading books by Robert Putnam about the subject. His most popular is from the 1990s to give you an idea of how long this issue has been growing and festering. We had the same issue around WW1 time btw.

The usual trope is that women do all the emotional labor and most of the housework including cooking and cleaning and then all the scheduling/kids stuff. This has never been the case in my relationships or in the ones of my friends. Typically 50/50 or men doing more in almost all areas. As usual - this isn’t common in UMC relationships like PPD focuses on but PPD uses the wrong stats as always. I think I agree to some extent overall but getting to the top of the ladder isn’t just choose a profession and stick with it. If you want to make $400k+/yr there are a decent amount of proven ways to do it. They can be really hard but they’ll work and you’re gonna make the money. The problem with what you’re suggesting is that getting to top of the ladder is as feasible for typical men - it just isn’t. Biology gets in the way of getting to top of the ladder. 80/20 is a general rule but truth is that it could easily be 50/5 as well. That still means the next 15 are getting double what they should in an even distribution. Tbh - I think that likely is more common the case. For every guy who sleeps with 100 women, there’s gotta be like 20 dudes who didn’t ever get any to make it even remotely close to even.

The fact that an equivalent version of me as a woman is almost impossible to find single should be evident of how easy it is. It is trivial to be a woman with my matching attributes when it comes to dating.

Such a weird incel take. This is such a niche and I don’t think even 1% of men fall into this line. After all - to be in the 1% financially isn’t even that hard. You don’t need to be gifted in any sense to get there. So, now imagine you’re in the 1% financially but now you need to also be in the top <5% of looks as well? You can see this is basically 1 in 1000 - if even that. Due to the Internet age and our hyperconnectedness - we see way more examples of this than IRL. For instance, I’ve only r…

We’re in a similar boat. I’m also not tall or particularly good looking. It’s basically impossible to get matches on apps due to these factors. It’s also gonna be the common reason for most men on PPD. Looks and the ratio are the biggest factors because looks is almost 100% of what online is about. That’s how you get a match to begin with - your looks.

Same issues as with older women - difficult to find ones that meet my criteria. I’ve found plenty of women who would date me but next to none that I’m interested in marrying. When you get to 30+ women - it’s even more grim. I’m a 1% man looking for a 1% woman - it’s gonna be tough.

Let’s consider a woman who is 30+ and single. Why is she single in our dating market where women have many options? It’s either cause she’s really bad goods or won’t settle. Either case - really bad for most men who are 30+. Let’s consider a woman who is <25. Why is she single? Bad goods, won’t settle, or not enough time in the market. It’s completely reasonable to have not found an optimal match by 25 - by 30+? It’s not likely unless you intentionally avoiding dating (and why would I want to be…

Weird. I was married to someone who was 24 when I was 31. I’ve met plenty of women who dated men who had an even bigger age gap or similar. So, I know plenty of women who would date someone 30+ while being 20-26 themselves including my exwife. I don’t think the majority of women want that but it’s common enough. Personally, I’m mostly looking at women near 25-26 myself and the women don’t seem bothered by my age. So… 🤷‍♂️ I also don’t think the majority of men are disgusted by promiscuous women.…

Which does more? I don’t know. Both end up settling but I think men settle before they even begin dating and women settle after they’ve been dating for a while. Men often know they have no chance with good looking women. They will shoot their shot if given a chance but know it’ll never go anywhere. They rarely if ever get a genuine chance anyway so why not. They are settling mentally before they even have tried. To be honest - this might be the part that hurts many men more than it should and wh…

They can but I’ve never heard of such a woman. Even the hyper religious ones will wait to have sex until marriage with their first (and likely only) husband. This seems like a very contrived scenario. Rules like only having sex after 3 dates is common and fine enough. Waiting multiple months or a dozen dates or until marriage is going to be uncommon for our culture. Very uncommon. At both of those points - I’d wonder if someone is asexual or something else… subtracting religion.

If I get the gist - stop enforcing toxic masculinity (e.g. boys don't cry) traits. I can get behind that - do you think women can? As we can see with adults and many stories here on PPD - women get the ick when their boyfriends cry in front of them or need emotional support. (To a degree that men definitely do not do with women)
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 11:43 AM

Sure - I agree with these. How do you think women should change here? What specific actions and behaviors would women need to take for this?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 11:41 AM

Yes, something from almost *30* years ago that wasn't around *men's* issues but around *black men's* issues. Yes, black men's issues are important and should be highlighted but that's an intersectional issue and not one for all men.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 11:39 AM

Then I'd say you should really make that a central point of your comment. Something like breast cancer awareness, funding, and activities around it but for men's mental health.

Although these things are nice and welcomed - they don’t sound like things that women are going to do. I think if that’s the only thing you’re noticing as a complaint then I think you need to start making specific effort to notice what men are actually complaining about. It seems like you’ve honed in on one thing that just makes you upset and made that to be what all men are talking about on this subreddit. The lack of casual sex for average men is really just one small point amongst a sea of much bigger points.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 08:14 AM

I do think if this doesn’t get any reasonable responses from women - men should really just opt out of this subreddit. It’s really a pointless subreddit at that point. We should see one another in person again.” So we did and went traveling together and all that too.

The fact you get past their filtering on tinder says you’re a pretty hot dude at least in the face, bro. You can’t really use your success as an overly good looking man to represent all average in the face short men.

They don’t get them from cold approach - lol. You’re delusional. Cold approach is just for chads. People use cold approach purely to reduce approach anxiety and general social anxiety. It’s not good for anything else as a normie. Warm approach is how average men usually get their partners.

Less picky is different than only basing on personality. If women were less picky in general - it’s not clear if my situation would be any better. It might be. It might not! If every woman just settled for whatever came their way then I’d have to change my strategy to dating 18 year olds or someone just out of college I guess. Neither of which is ideal… Looks are mainly what is holding me back. I don’t have good frame, height, or face. I’m average at best and we all know average doesn’t cut it. …

Therein lines the issue. Most average men are going to get nowhere with this advice. If average men only listened to this advice - they’d never get laid. A lot of women are the type to warm up to an average man. The way the game works is very different for chads vs normies. Chads can use this instant attraction thing to determine what to do but normies can’t. They need to play the long game.

I think it’s the difference between chad life and non-chad life. I’m in a similar boat as you. I can’t recall almost any of them giving that level of interest up front. One of my friends also just got into a relationship with a guy who she had spent a week with at a camp with a bunch of other people. She had talked to this guy for hours. She didn’t even think she liked him until a month or two later. You can guess what he is - not a chad. Very few women are going to feel that magnetic attraction…

I would just say that not all women are enthusiastic from the get go and I think this will be more and more true the lower you are in looks. Many women are also extremely guarded and will hide any enthusiasm - which is just a defense mechanism from having been used up or attempted to be used by various men. So even if you are doing everything right - many won’t even bother making it obvious they’re into you because they want to be around you longer to see what kind of person you really are. If y…

It’s a fantasy thing for a lot of gals. Also - what woman is going to be cheating with you and be like, “huh - you know you’re actually kinda the same, maybe slightly worse than my boyfriend.” It’s part of the fantasy for both parties. The woman experiences someone who is exotic and sweeps them off their feet, they just couldn’t resist, and the man gets to have this incredible sexual power. It’s a win-win for both parties with this fantasy. That said - tbh - it’s weird. I’ve had sex with girls w…

Cold approach mostly relies on looks - you’re not going to do well as an average man. You’re better off with warm approach. Living in a major city actually makes it worse. Women have more options and therefore will look for someone who checks all their boxes. An average man is unlikely to do that and they’ll pass on them.

The number of women into EFT and go karts is definitely way less than men. Do you even talk to women? Do you actually do any of this stuff? Cause I do and there’s almost no women at it. You’ll usually have the one token girl out of a group of 30-50 people.

That is just luck. When you roll a 20 instead of a 1, it’s luck. Some men will continue to roll 1’s for most of their life. It’s just bad luck. With enough time and rolls - you can try your chances more. But sometimes the die is loaded and you’re fucked. Sometimes you’ll get too discouraged to keep rolling the die. It’s luck, man. It really is. Don’t sugarcoat it for people. Luck is a huge portion of why people succeed and fail in this world and that’s just how it is.

I think the difference is mainly in how people meet. Online - you’re not getting far as an average man unless you fit some niche (e.g. redhead). Cold approach is similar. Main reason you see many average men with women is because many men get lucky through warm approach like social circles, work, college, etc. As we get more individualized as we have been - we’re going to continue to see this shit fall apart.

It sounds more like emotional ranting and raging from your first sentence. I’m not saying that works... The way you word this makes it sound like the one with less power creates the double standard. You’d be surprised. I know a lot of women who do this. Husband is making $600k+ and they’re making $300k. They split shit evenly. It’s more common than you think. A lot of the reason the women make this money is because they don’t want to be sugar babies. If they wanted to be sugar babies - why even make $300k? Why not just not work? I never worked more than 50hrs/week to achieve that. It’s very doable. Many places of employment you can get by with 40-45 hours and make $250-1m. Top 10% is still a lot. I’m also sure it’s less than 10% nationally. But probably closer to 10% for places like SF and NYC.

Such a weird take. You think there aren't plenty of men out there that meet these criteria? I was making $1m+/yr when I was 25-29 and had much better traits than all of what I listed. Y'all are out of touch with how much money people make in major metros. $250k is very achievable. I'm not even asking for someone who makes remotely close to what I do. Also super weird you assume a woman who makes money wants to be single. They're not correlated at all.

They're a lot more common in places like SF and NYC. I've known quite a few. They often don't line up with some of these other traits *or* they're not single. Most often, they're just not single and that's the biggest issue. Most marry their college sweethearts.

I will not argue the perception of safety that women have. Yes, many women feel all men are an inherent danger and like they will be kidnapped and beheaded like a journalist. That said - the bars lower not due to the safety aspect. That’s really never something that’s on the very forefront of their mind unless they have serious trauma. Neither of these are examples of women setting you up. Gender doesn’t even matter here tbh. In both instances - you had to take very large steps towards initiating it. These are just facilitated by social connections as a means of having a warmer introductio…

I’d love to know how many people men here met their partner because they asked their friends (who are women) to set them up. I’ve yet to run into anyone in real life who has this story. Especially so for people who met in the last five years in USA. I really don’t think this is a viable strategy. Make friends with women if you want but doing so while thinking - “this is how I’ll get my actual partner - by building a shallow network of female friends I was attracted to but shot down by!” is proba…

If I’m planning on having kids with the woman, yes. Am man in early 30’s and look at women below 30 when dating with the intention of having kids. Too many complications with having kids in mid-30s+ for most women. Better off just getting a younger partner. I’m not going to rush into having kids with anyone either - so if they’re 32 now then earliest they’d get pregnant is 35. Not good IMO. So, yeah, I look below 30. Even outside of that - I generally look below 30 but will entertain women for a…

As someone who has been on the hiring side, made 7-fig, etc... What he's saying is very accurate about hiring. We give out offers for $250k+ (that can often turn into much more) for women that require a substantially lower bar to pass if you're a woman. Add in some beauty, POC, etc... You're getting a much higher offer, never getting fired even if you do nothing, and will be pushed to get promoted to management. It's normal in tech - especially SV. I know because I help hire these people and k…

What kind of rough we talking here boss? Ball gag or slapping some ass? There’s a spectrum here and I find women are wildly spread across that spectrum. The mood of the day and even the moment will dictate where they fall. Some are more like me - they don’t enjoy any kind of pain sensation - and then others are like… choke me, spank me, smother me, etc. That said - some weird ass really into pain dudes out there too. Like cock n ball torture is a thing. 🤷‍♂️

Personally, I find women who have slept with many men are more open sexually than women who haven’t slept with many men. Exceptions being women who are repressed and open up when in a sexual situation. (Think good Christian girl on the streets and then ball gags you when you get into bed… Not my thing tbh) Tbh - this just reads a lot like that one movie with Ben Affleck… Chasing Amy. Just screams insecurity and like… “I’m deeply worried about the size of my penis” energy.

I think anything is fine. Whatever works. Personally - as a man - I find true cold approach (on the street, etc) to be too rough to work unless you’re a god tier model but the same could be said of online too tbh. That said - all my romantic success has come from “cold approach” in the sense that I didn’t know the woman or have any social connections with the woman and we met doing a hobby. I think a ten year gap at that age is a bit too much. You’d only find it working with women who are serious about settling down at a younger age (something that is pushed heavily onto younger women in places like China and Eastern Europe). You go into traditional hookup-centric US culture and it’s probably the biggest shot in the dark to hit a needle in a haystack from a mile away. Only exception being the religious ones - so maybe it’s possible in Utah or some places but I’d skip these non-secu…

I’ve seen no difference in outcomes. Friends with only men - seen many who get laid a lot. Friends with mostly/only women - seen many who also still get laid a lot. I don’t honk this correlates at all unfortunately. Your friend group is something the choosing side has little interest in from an early perspective. It’s maybe only long term that they’ll care and by then they’ll get over it. In the same way that me being having male friends doesn’t mean I give men great head, having female friends …

I think it’s not that much easier tbh. But it does seem easier. There are many women in Europe who try to actively take care of their look in comparison to women in USA. I’ve met so many more women here who are much more fashionable, dress up, and generally look after their figure compared to women in the USA. The women here in Europe are also much more ready to settle down than those in USA - at least for the ones I’ve met. In USA - women have Peter Pan syndrome.

Sex or dates. Men here aren’t getting either. You really think your average man on PPD is getting even a date a month? Your average man in the US too? The number of dates an average man gets a year is probably damn near 0. It’s chad who gets the overwhelming amount of dates - not some average dude. Depends. I think there’s a good chunk of men who will give great advice to women about how to improve their chances and even their life. Why should the man have to ask the woman every time what she needs? Why does a man have to babysit and infantilize a woman? Why can’t the woman say what she wants and what she needs when appropriate? If you want to get an idea of how CS kids are doing - just go to www.levels.fyi Quants can make even more but it’s super variable because a quant != quant dev - and you’re not likely a quant at 24-26 unless you rushed your PhD. Quant dev - sure. Again - they’ll pay well. Could be an IB or something else too. Again - lots of jobs in these big cities like SF and NYC are paying people under 30 $300k+ often enough. It’s just not talked about as much be…

It’s good money - it’s just not fiendishly rich like an oil barren like you make it out to be. The difference between Elon and I is still BILLIONS of dollars a year. He makes thousands of times more a year than I do.

Yeah. I think you’re right. $1m/yr doesn’t even get you into the 1% in SF. I think the same is probably true in NYC/Manhattan. To be in the top 1% you need to make over $3.5m/yr in SFBA. That stat is a few years old too - I’m sure it’s even higher now.

Nah - she herself admits she wasn’t able to do it until we were apart. Divorce and fully being cut off from money made her realize - oh shit… I need to make money and work hard if I want this nice lifestyle. She found the drive and motivation soon thereafter. The opportunities quickly became apparent and she capitalized on them and continues to do such. She’s incredibly smart - there’s a reason I was with her. Nah - I’m pretty well adjusted. I just like a woman who earns her keep and has enough respect to do the same. I’m also not interested in women who feel like they’re only there because of a financial aspect. e.g. a SAHM who has been out of work for too long and finds re-entering the workforce too difficult or whatever. Again - I’m not interested in a trophy. I’m not looking to be coddled or worshipped either. I want a partner - not some sex slave who pops out babies.

I just got frustrated with her cause I kept climbing in income but she just wanted to be a do-nothing bitch and turn into a trophy wife. I was like, “yeah, no. We didn’t agree on this. You’re gonna work or I’m gonna make your life hell until you work. Pick the poison.” She chose to leave. That’s how it went down, bro. Hate to break it to you. Sometimes…

lol… you should make more friends with doctors and lawyers. I’ve never said I wanted someone who makes 7 figures anyway. Top 1% for women is like $270k/yr - which is an absolute joke to achieve - lol. Any CS grad 3 years out of school can make that. Achievable by 24-26 easily.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 10:34 PM

Yeah - you guys really are delusional. You think having high income would solve all the problems - it really doesn’t. Young women aren’t concerned with your money. Maybe some trash is but women aren’t. Idk why people think money is so important. Like as long as you meet their minimum bar - that’s about all that matters with it. If you’re exceptional like fucking Elon then maybe it changes the way they think but then you’re basically just with a trophy - not a woman.

If you’re interested in a woman who is similarly earning (doctors, lawyers, techy, quants, etc.) then you’re SOL. Your income at that level is just kinda noise/run of the mill. The amount of men who make high 6 figures to low 7 is way more common in major cities than most people realize. Even for men in their early 30s or late 20s. Low 7 figure income isn’t enough to “buy” yourself a good partner. M…

It depends on what you want. I think the odds are better in rural and smaller cities because there’s only so many options - but the quality of women you have to select from is… not going to be great. You’re not going to have a ton of lawyers, doctors, and other well paid professionals to choose from. It’s gonna be a lot of hairdressers, retail, dental assistant, and waitresses… Which is fine if you’re okay living on that income. Personally, I’m not.

She left because I forced her to make money. 😂 She’s on her way to making bank now (already 6 figures but she could hit mid-6 if she’s smart with it. 7 if she is ambitious like me) but divorce was the only way it was gonna happen - she isn’t big on working if she doesn’t have to. I can tell you the west coast is terrible. The quality women are with their partners from college more often than not. The gender imbalance is massive. (Often 150men:100women for single 25-34 folks) The women often can bring more to the table because the region is so expensive and they need decent jobs but it’s not guaranteed and many don’t want to climb the corporate ladder. I’d say you’re missing on above average face. This is probably the most important feature. That is also outside the control of a man - you’re not going to be born into 8+ territory or even likely be able to get surgery for it if you’re coming from a 4/10. There’s minor things you can do that aren’t usually super terrible like rhinoplasty but the rest is usually not fun.

It varies by country a lot. Height in Netherlands is different than height in Spain. I have friends who live in Spain and talk about how all the men are short and balding but in America - the men are all tall, buff, and have hair. It varies a lot on where you go and what you’re coming from. Europeans vary on this a lot. A girl in the Netherlands might be extremely difficult to please due to the 6ft+ average.

For most people in the USA - a CS masters is completely worthless. Your bachelors is more than enough (literally have a bachelors and have had 7 figure jobs - you don’t need a masters) and a masters won’t get you any kind of special job unless you got published in a specific field. (Rare) Most people get masters in CS in the USA because they’re switching fields or because they’re foreign and it’s an easy way to get into the country with a visa.

Unless you’re into physical fitness or gym bro shit - there’s no reason anyone would be good at guessing weight. It’s not intuitive anyway. Height to weight scales at the ~cubic power (1d to 3d). It’s super hard for people to intuit that. Idk any woman at 180lbs who’s gonna look good at 5’4”. She’d definitely be in the 1% of genetics for that.

US just has a ton of single men at everything. It’s insane. I’d also say salsa is one of the worst places to meet women in the US anyway. They play the music so loud that you can’t even find out someone’s name. Even off the dance floor. You’d have to leave the venue to have any kind of conversation. Which - at that point - is no better than online dating in terms of talking to people.

Your age and age range probably has something to do with it then. It’s definitely a lot for someone my age (31). You’ll at best get the overweight girls or ones with severe acne scars and abrasive personalities. I’m not into that - tbh. Bars and clubs are no better than online dating for modern women under 30.

I’ve found being the most attractive in the room is what helps. Your friend is significantly more attractive and taller than you - this doesn’t help when you’re in the same “room”. So, I’d suggest stop being in the same room as this guy when it comes to romantic opportunities. Also - unless you yourself are looking to be poly - why do you care that a girl is sleeping with your friend who is poly? It sounds like the girl either just wants sex or poly relationship. If you’re poly then yeah that su…

I can’t imagine that’s a real boyfriend (colloquially - the monogamous kind) in this scenario or a woman worth keeping around. Quality ladies aren’t just going and sleeping with other men when they have an argument with their committed boyfriends. I mean - ffs - I’d never be with a woman like that. She sounds like trash.

A growth mindset is generally something one can ascertain within other contexts. If you don’t have a growth mindset when it comes to women - you likely don’t have one to other activities. I’ve rarely met men who are good candidates but are in a fixed mindset with women while being growth in other areas. (Usually this time in their life is a fluke) Overall - cultivate a growth mindset in all forms of life. That said - growth mindset is a bit of copium. You can have the best approach and mentality…

Exactly. If you look at sports enough - you’ll see so many people with the exact same build that you will realize… it’s not that they’re just working out the muscles most important to succeed or doing whatever - it’s that their inherent bone structure, musculature, and stature are often a good fit for that specific activity. That’s why they ended up going into it. Few people go into things where they’re at an inherent disadvantage. Similarly when you’re a kid and people push you in or out of spo…

I’d say 7 isn’t really accurate. If you’re ugly - doesn’t matter what energy you put out. If you dry her up on sight - it’s not happening regardless of “energy” or “vibes”. I’ve seen some pretty confident, happy, and good dudes get nowhere with women because they were ugly.

This is called selection bias though. People at the gym are going to naturally be people who are better fit for the gym. If you looked at sports - you must be thinking - “jeez, if I just played basketball - I’d be over 6’ tall.” But that’s the wrong way to think about it. Usually it’s that tall people play basketball. Similarly - those who can get big and are capable of having a very masculine look tend to go to the gym. Those who can’t don’t because it just doesn’t do anything for them. In the …

Still need to follow rules 1 and 2 first. Half of my best friends are women. This has never influenced how rules 1 and 2 work. This only helps if you’re saying cringey incel shit in front of women instead of keeping that between your bros - and that is literally your only reason for fucking up.

This feels like a very woman centric view. While accurate for many women - I don’t find this accurate for many men I know. Maybe this is more true outside the US. I know many men who are confident, fit, make well over $200k/yr, Ivy league educated, securely attached, etc. yet they’re single and can’t find a mate. (These men are dime a dozen in Silicon Valley) They end up with what they can get - which is usually pretty bad.

Where do you live? A lot of women wouldn’t expect a casual suggestion that we do some activity or hang out together doing x, y, z is a date where I live. Yes. 1000%. Extreme skepticism in every situation. I’ve talked to many women about this (who I got to know through more approachable situations) and they all have great disdain, distrust, and skepticism to random men approaching them in any context where it’s not expected. (If a man asks you to dance at a dance - normal because that’s what you’re there to do. If a man talks to you while shopping - what does he want? Likely nothing good!)

Huge ymmv. I know in SF and some parts of the country - women pick up on any social interaction like this from a man as very unappealing from the get go. They know you want something. I really wish I lived where you guys did where a single person was open to social interaction to begin with.

Varies. There’s some with younger and more approachable women and super YMMV with your local scene. What is true in Chicago isn’t true in Seattle isn’t true in Miami, etc. Ratios vary and so do the clientele. For where I live (SF) - lots of extra dudes at any type of dance (this is true of almost all hobbies. SF often has yoga classes with more men than women. Speaking to 15 women and introducing yourself is a little different than what some here might think. It’s not hard to talk to a different woman every song if you just go out and ask, and the gender ratio where you are is favorable. (I find it needs to be slightly female biased in order to get a dance often. Women tend to dance with other women and this throws off the balance) I’ve done dancing for over a decade and tried just about every style. Yes, good way to meet some women. Bad in that it’s …

These things sometimes happen because they met in high school or were childhood friends, etc. It’s uncommon and shouldn’t be your benchmark for expectations. Your expectations should be to not get a model as an average looking guy. (Cause that’s the harsh reality for 99% of average men) If you somehow get lucky- wow you got lucky. It’s both. Climbing involves technique and some thinking but most of it is purely muscle. Even if you have the right technique, know what you’re doing, etc. it will not matter for most problems because you simply don’t have the muscle. This is why many female climbers are well behind their male counterparts (except when they’re very young). Tired of people downplaying how important it is to be very physically strong for rock climbing.
/r/seduction16/04/22 06:25 PM

This is copium. You’re out of your mind if you think rock climbing doesn’t require a lot of muscle. The best climbers aren’t huge but that’s because being huge limits your ability to climb. Instead they’re extremely good on power to weight. They’re lean but still incredibly strong. On top of that, your tendons and what not are going to give very early. That takes a long time to get the strength for.

Ran into a video of his today. It was for his experience in SF. Basically his list is exactly what I said. He said it’s a shit town and that if you manage here - you’ll be a god elsewhere. And it’s one of the reasons he left. He hasn’t lived there in years and times change. (SF is a place that is quickly changing as compared to Cincinnati or what not) I’d say it’s worse than it was before. So, he probably has no interest in ever visiting this area again.

Varies. I married a woman who started out living about an hour away from where I was (no traffic - with traffic much longer). We mostly saw each other on weekends and spent the weekend together or I’d drive down to her area and we’d hangout for the whole day. So, no, 30 miles is not too far. I’m actually looking for women in an area that is about 30 miles from where I am now too. It’s not ideal but it’s not that big of a deal. Now if that 30 miles is a 3 hour trip both ways - that’s rough.

The analogy is good here. Great dancing is very much appreciated but it has to be appreciated by the right person (same as a strong motor - not everyone wants a 9000rpm v8) and the other things need to be in alignment too. It’s short by most standards. Actually, the reason is that more men are born than women by about 5%. Men are just naturally born more often. It’s only by age 40 that women start to outnumber men due to men committing suicide at a much higher rate. Suicide often gets minimized by “drunk driving” events and what not - they won’t label it as a suicide even though it clearly was. You’ll see a young man die every holiday out of a military platoon that is back home due to this cause.
