It’s not about confessing. You should never actually confess anything to a girl. You should never say “i really like you and i was wondering if we could be more than friends”…
you should never say any of that shit to a girl.
dating and seduction is not about revealing the truth that you have been hiding…
It’s about hitting on her, which you aren’t really doing… What you call flirting probably isn’t even real flirting.
Complimenting a girl isn’t flirting, if it’s the type of compliment that even her aunt, grandma or her mum could say to her.
Being her friends first is also bad because it usually never leads into something more, as you literally are putting yourself in the friendzone by becoming her close friend.
If you go out with her, it’s to make a kiss happen, not to discuss your feelings for her. You kiss without telling her your feelings, without confessing, without proposing, without asking to be more than friends.
You hit because the situation invites for it, not because you want to let her know that you would like to be in a relationship with her.
You kiss her in the mouth causally as if it’s nothing more than a kiss, and playing, no matter what feelings you have.
You don’t ever confess your feelings until the girl has asked you that she wants to be more than casual kissers and be serious.
First goes kissing, then sex for a month or two, then confessing from her, and then relationships.
You DO NOT do it in the opposite way, you DO NOT start with confessing hoping that leads to her saying she feels the same and wants a relationship, and going into kissing for the first time once the relationship has been confirmed. You do not do this, because that’s the wrong order.

Thanks for the comment, point to note is that, dating culture doesn't exist in the country I live in. People on dating apps, just want hookups or "nothing serious". If u approach random people, or acquaintances, it will go horribly wrong and you will get morally policed for flirting or be called a creep.
You really have to know a person, before being frank, so as to not come across as being odd.
That being said, I didn't really compliment her, but IDK what I said counts as flirting either.
Although she did realize, I was flirting with her.
I'm at a huge disadvantage starting off as friends, but since we met each other as kids briefly, I think I can still make a different impression, when we meetup as close friends.
As I think meeting someone in person is way different than chatting with them for months., And if I can maybe come across as charming/flirty/desirable.. there's hope.
I just think at this point, its better to be honest about my feelings, but before being clear about them, I want to increase the chance of them being reciprocated as much as possible.

So you want to do the thing that won’t work, and will lead to her saying “i only see you as a friend” got it.
You cannot get a girl to reciprocate your feelings if you haven’t kissed with her first at the very least.
Anyways, I’m a firm believer in letting people screw up by doing the wrong thing so they learn the hard way how things work or do not work.
