This voice inside is your ego. Your ego is just a projection of how you think people see you and is only concerned with not being embarrassed or diminished. So when you want to try something new that risks rejection or embarrassment, such as walking up to a beautiful women and risking getting rejected, your ego will tell you all kinds of bullshit for why it shouldn't be done.
But you need to recognize that the ego has no power. It is is simply a voice, like a crazy relative who is always shouting at you about this and that. Eventually you learn to nod your head, say "thanks for your input buddy" and then go on and do what you were planning on doing in the first place.

This is called approach anxiety.
The answer is to feel what you are feeling and do it anyway. And then the more you do it the more natural it becomes.
