As a 22 year old virgin, this year I took the decision to get better at dating. And it was a good decision. With the help of some authors and you guys, I started noticing the interest of women, made out with 2 women and went on a date. These numbers pretty much equalled all the dating action I'd had in the previous 22 years, and it felt good because I took the responsibility to improve and actually started seeing results.

I was confident, however, all it took was one little rejection at a club, a month ago, to enter a negative cycle. I felt like I wanted to cry in the middle of the dance floor, again having feelings of unworthiness and reigniting past traumas (familial abandonment and other rejections). I know a fucking rejection at a nightclub shouldn't be that deep. But it hurt me a lot.

Since then, I've had girls sending signals of interest, but felt incapable of acting, because deep down I knew that if I was rejected I would react the same way I did on that night a month ago.

And this made me realize something: in the last few months I've consumed so much content about seduction (except for the women themselves lol) and self-improvement, that I pretty much don't have a personality anymore. It's sad, but when I finish daily work, other than working out and playing videogames, all I do is watch this type of content. And that made me realize that, by trying to improve myself in a theoretical way, I'm actually becoming more boring and desperate. No wonder rejection hurts so much.

I need to restore the pride in myself by pursuing different activities, so that I can feel more confident again and not as affected by rejection. If in the meantime I find attractive women, I'll approach them even if I still get hurt by the tiniest rejection. But this can't be my whole life anymore.

This post may seem irrelevant to some of you, but maybe there are people who will see themselves in what I wrote and realize that they are spending too much time on this instead of actually improving themselves, their confidence and approaching. Hopefully this helps.
