About the same things you’d discuss with your friends (with some exceptions of course). If you’re looking for something serious, then you should absolutely make sure that you two have a common ground - you share some hobbies and interests, your sense of humour is similar, etc. Unless you make very bad jokes, you shouldn’t avoid them. Girls like funny guys - not clowns but funny.

I would assume that you have opinions on a lot of things, just choose a topic.

If you are afraid of coming across as creepy, and causing offence then i’m afraid you won’t be successful.

That’s because you will be overthinking and trying to walk on eggshells, which is something that kills your natural charisma, your authenticity, and causes you to seek women’s approval which turns them off.

Your lack of experience will mean that you will fuck up a lot of times, and that’s something you should accept that it’s gonna happen.

You need to fuck up a lot of times in order to get good at picking up girls.

Much like, if you are learning to drive a car you need to make many mistakes before you can get your driving license.

See you say that you won’t make jokes around them, but that’s counter productive because women want to have fun, laugh and they do enjoy a guy with a good sense of humour.

Now, if the jokes you usually throw have always offended women, it might be because you can’t tell the difference between light hearted dumb humor that appeals to women, and dark, or ego driven, humor that appeals to men.

When men want to be funny they are used to throw jokes that make them seem more tough, more insensitive, more badass, more cocky or heartless because they think it’s cool between men.

But the same type of humour cannot be used with women. Women prefer imitation, light hearted teasing, exaggerations, misinterpretations, role-playing, playful sarcasm, absurdity, playful accusations,… etc

You need to get them to feel emotions, so what you say has to provoke emotional reactions, positive ones though. Humour is the best way to do that, but you need to be aware that humour that appeals to men isn’t the same type of humour that appeals to women. If you make jokes about dead babies, or you think bullying others is funny, or if you joke about other people’s insecurities, or their flaws that they cannot change due to genetics then that won’t appeal to women.

Everyone i meet, lovers or friends, i am making a file on them. I know their boundaries, their likes, the unconscious biases they have informed by their childhood, their abilities to go to deep places, the limitations of their friendship, etc. My relationships are better and more authentic because i actually see them

my friend has no mom, so i dont need to brag about how great my mom is, for example, dont need to make him feel bad
