I dated someone for several years a long time ago and got a bit used to being in a relationship and since that's been over I've been missing having another person to confide in and have an intimate relationship with. I don't necessarily feel lonely when I'm by myself all the time but sometimes I would rather just be with someone again.

You miss the comfort of having someone one, focus on yourself , workout , stack your money, travel , and make yourself an authentic/mysterious person that attracts ; when you focus on yourself all the thing will come to you , you will attract it

Self improve is good however modern dating advice, especially on reddit, has turned that shit into a meme.
You know why guys like hearing advice like “focus on yourself, make money, go to the gym”? Because it’s easy. It’s easier to “focus on yourself” whatever the fuck that means. It’s easier to just work more hours at your job. It’s easy to just go to the gym.
It’s harder to take concrete actions to improve your dating life, for example, learning to approach women IRL.
Im not advocating for men to not self improve, Im just saying, men get too wrapped up with “self improvement” and self improvement by itself does not get girls. You can gym 15 hours a week and make 200k a year and still get no results if youre not out there meeting women.

You should forget about committed relationship and focus on getting one night stands first, and then once you have had sex for a while the girls might start to catch feelings and will ask you them for an actual relationship.
But if you try to first to have a relationship without having sex first, you are most likely never going to get a relationship because the girls need to sleep with you first to want something serious with you.

I'm lazy for not wanting to spend money that I work hard for on something stupid? And also should I file a restraining order because clearly you must be following me around to know so much about how I operate. You're weird little talk down to me in order to hype me up scheme doesn't work buddy. As for setting up those accounts, I don't usually like to use social media because it's toxic. The only thing I will say is I might not know what all Instagram actually is so that's why I'll give it a try.

You obviously struggle with dating and you think you know what the issues are: not buying tinder plus and not having social media. Yet youre too god dam lazy to solve these problems. If tinder plus is the issue then buy it (i know tinder plus isnt the issue but you think thats whats holding you back, I personally dont use OLD). You also attribute your struggles with not having social media when the solution is obvious and simple.
The real reason why youre struggling is because you put in no effort and take no actions. Setting up an OLD profile and swiping isnt effort and barely counts as actions.
