Yes, it’s good in the sense that they are basically telling you that they think you are attractive enough to pull pull girls. However that’s only good for short term relationships like casual hookups or friends with benefits.
For something longer it might not be so good that she thinks you are a player because it means she can’t take you seriously for a long term commitment.

Women communicate covertly… which means they generally will not come out and advertently say that they like you, your smooth talking, etc.
You have be very careful when listening to women who talk overtly… which is straight to the point like how we men talk. 9 times out of 10 it’s never accurate…. Like the player comment you mentioned.
Instead… watch her actions. If she called you a player and continues to want to be around you…. Then it’s a good thing. You will find a lot of times their actions contradict what they say… which you’re finding out now since you’ve heard that being a player is such a bad thing…. According to what women say.
