Try introducing yourself when you approach, then tell them you find them very attractive and if they would like to get to know you. This is my go to approach. It works really well. They will either connect with you or not. Who cares right? At last you tried.

Alright so I just go back from the gym today. I made a move on this really really attractive girl that was my age. She was walking on the treadmill about when I was finished for my workout so I decided to go walk on the treadmill next to her for a cooldown. I went up and said “Hi I know this is random but I saw you over there while I was working and I thought you were really cute, my names Ryan”. She instantly made eye contact with me back and responded with the same energy. We talked for 15-20 minutes and it turns out that she’s going to my school next year. I got her phone number and snap also. We talked about going somewhere sometime such a rock jumping place near us. I brought it up with her and she agreed. She told me she was free tomorrow and that she would be down. I flirted with her a good bit also, at some points we were making eye contact for 15-20 seconds while we were talking to each other. She told me this “I really like your physique, you look really good.” I blushed so hard when she said that, and she looked into my eyes and smiled. Thank you guys for the tips!

In those special cases, you rather have to be social first and sexual second. Just start a conversation and be friends with them, you probably gonna see her multiple times so you don't have to hurry then you can invite them to hang out so you can get to know her better and decide what your intentions are

I think you should start by acknowledging that she’s a woman. Not a girl or female. Then treat her how you’d like to be treated and if it works if works. If not, all you did was be a human and you can keep searching.
I do acknowledge that she’s a woman. I would never want to disrespect or think i’m better than someone just because I’m a different gender. That’s just straight messed up and immature. I treat everyone how I’d like to be treated because you never know what someone’s going through. Also you are completely correct, there’s only so much you can do. If they aren’t satisfied with you trying your best, go find someone else.
