Don’t do it. Don’t hit on retail workers or food service workers or really anybody while their on the job. Their job is to be overtly nice to you, and I guarantee you’re not the first person to take that as flirting and you won’t be the last.

I frequent a restaurant in my town and there’s a bartender there who I think is really attractive, and whenever she would hand me the bill, before I paid anything she would draw little hearts and thank yous all over it. My idiot brain thought she might be flirting, and I seriously considered asking her out.

SO GLAD I DIDNT.

I bet it was just her way of being nice to a customer. I’m just glad I didn’t say anything and I can still be friendly with her. I can also continue going to this incredible restaurant. Seriously, best nachos in the country.
