So there's this girl from out of state I met about 2yrs back through mutual friends. She showed interest in me right when we met. Whenever we were at the same events she would try to talk with me or pull me to come dance with her, but I never got the chance to have alone time with her.

The last time she visited was almost a year ago. I asked her to hang out and she said she would've loved to, but was leaving that night. We talked over the phone and texted for a day but she was giving little effort and was just giving off that chase me vibe so I never contacted her after that day.

Fast forward to last week, I ended up seeing her at a wedding and completely ignored her. Many times that night she tried to get near me or be in my line of sight til we were right in front of each other. I said hi, gave her a hug then went back to having fun with other friends. Later in the night she literally moved from the other side of the room and sat by herself next to the table I was at. Eventually I pulled a chair beside her and we had some small talk, made her laugh, contested her thoughts, etc.

The next day we end up seeing each other at an event and I chat with her quick and passively. The rest of the time I gave my attention to everyone but her even though she kept trying to put herself around me.

Anyways she ends up telling me she's going back home the next morning and we say goodbye. About ten minutes later she texted me "don't be a stranger" and I replied the next day "that goes both ways" and she hasn't responded since.

It's the fact that I dismissed her before, better appearance and her seeing me being charismatic made her attracted again.

I'm not even that hung up on her, but I'm curious as to why she even text me like that but still acts weird. Is it just so she can get some attention from me or is it something else? So weird man...
