Take it slow.
You can do this: "Hey, I am so lost with lecture, omg. Do you know what's going on??" And then you two will talk for a little bit.
Then, ask, "Hey, I was thinking if you wanna go for a coffee run? Bc I think you're cool and I want to get to know you better."
And then you two will exchange numbers. And the conversation may continue in text/phone, and then when you two hang out for coffee, you can ask her out for dinner or something.

Engage in like a bit of a convo beforehand. Dont go straight into asking them out. Talk abt anything. Then ask for a coffee run

Is it to risky to ask her for dinner instead of a coffee run?

You + I = together

Make the girl laugh then just have a normal casual conversation. If she likes you she will show you that she’s interested. You’re not the only one who’s feeling shy she can be shy too.
Thanks dude

“hey, i think you’re really attractive. do you want to go out for coffee (or whatever activity you’d prefer) this weekend?”
makes it simple and straightforward. you’ll show your intentions right off the bat.
if she’s not interested, you can simply say “no worries, take it as a compliment”, and move on.

Well, yes, this approach does show your intentions to date right off the bat. But to me as a girl, if someone said, Hey I think you're really attractive upon the first meeting, I would feel like this guy wants something physical only. I would accept the compliment but I would not meet with him tbh. I am more drawn to someone who would say something about my personality, like, "Hey, I love your smile, you're so cute and bubbly, you make me laugh, I feel good around you, you uplift the room." Things like that.

Exactly. Considering one’s physical attractiveness is mostly genetic, this is no different from saying “hi you are 5’10, have green eyes and you’re color bind, with irish origins. Can we go grab a drink?”

Too corny. Before you make a move have small talk with her for at least 2 days. Then subtly say you want to invite her somewhere.

Don't just walk up to her and ask her out, talk to her first have a conversation then ask, be confident throughout the process, if you have doubt she will too. Don't get obsessed with one, if she rejects you there are plenty of other ways to meet women
