You tried too hard, that’s why it’s not smooth at all. You also try to sexualise the conversation which is not recommended over texts, as sexualising requires you to be face to face to read the situation well, and escalate immediately after.

I agree you had an opportunity to show leadership as well as get yourself a "workout date" potentially. Hold off for several days then give it one more try this time with a plan. Meeting someplace public to work on cardio perhaps.

Haha ya you were prob fine til the last bit. You put all the onus on her, rather than taking some ownership yourself and LEADING the interaction there. There's only one thing she can say to that and she might not be ready to say it overtly.

Bigger picture, a lot of guys make the mistake of thinking the girl is the exact same emotional state 15 hours later outside of the high energy environment of the club and now sober. Not to say you can't bring that state back. But you need to rev the engine again first, dude. There's just no need to do it all in one step like that.
