If I have to double text 90% of the time it’s a sign of low interest. I’ve never had to double text someone who wanted to see me.
It doesn’t hurt anything but one’s pride and some people are happy to do it. I see no issue with it.

A girl I saw a couple of times and had sex with once last year I doubled texted once to get out on a first date so i guess it doesn’t hurt to shoot your shot once more and can be beneficial at times.
