You’re a man. You typically spread sti. If you’re a heterosexual male you can’t get hiv from fucking females. Even if she has hiv and you don’t use a condom. So hiv is no worry. Hsv2 is the other lifetime sti. Look up the transmission percentage of hsv2 without an outbreak. Very low.
Everything else is curable with pills. The media and sex Ed wants to scare you and for good cause. You should wear a condom and practice safe sex but just be educated about what sti are and how you contract them. Women she be way more concerned than you she is the one taking your semen inside her body. If a girl has an sti she probably isn’t going to want to fuck anyway because it would hurt and her pussy is probably all gross.
I know someone is going to comment on this and say you can get sti s with zero symptoms sure. But it’s rare like really rare. But nobody tells that side of the story.
To further prove my point I literally just got tested on Friday because this new girl I am seeing wants me to. The dr asked me if I have ever had anal sex with a man, and if I had any sores or anything abnormal with my penis, also asked if it hurts when I pee. I said no to all. He said the likelihood of an sti is very very low but he still ran all the tests.

Wdym by you can’t get hiv as a heterosexual man? Is that true? I’d be so relieved if that were the case lmao - that’s the one std that scares me

Your fear isn’t completely unfounded but you can get stds from your regular partner.
The chances of contracting genital herpes with a condom is less than a 1% risk, still a risk but fairly low.
As for the sore on your lip, 67% of people will get hsv1 (herpes of the lips) by age 49. It’s nowhere as bad or serious as hsv2
There is nothing wrong with asking for an std test will it turn some people off or cause them to decline to hook up with you. That’s possible but you should ask yourself if that’s someone you would want to sleep with.

Well wear a condom for sure. Here's something I had no clue about until years later. Lambskin condoms do not protect against STDs. The pores on those condoms are small enough to stop sperm from getting through but not small enough to stop bacterias and virus that cause STDs.
Make sure you're wearing latex condoms.
Also if something looks or smells off. Don't do it.
