I’m a very composed drinker and know my limit. I think it might’ve been a defense mechanism saying as a bartender who always gets hit on.

Well i am a bartender and i would never date a customer. And yes we do get hit in a lot, generally by drunks. Something sad about seeing people all day long sitting at a bar getting drunk. Maybe if you were to see her outside of her job things may change. Ask her out and do something without alcohol involved. Good luck

I think she was being just generally nice and to not look to much into this. If this is a place you like to go also, you might make it weird if she declines any advances towards you. My stepsister is a bar tender and has been for about 7 years, she does not date or even like the types of people who are in bars. Not saying that's the case here but I feel like this woman is really just trying to be nice to you and wanted you to get home safely.

Don't go back. When you text invite her to something else and make it interesting. You have to change your image to not a customer.
You're right it's a defense and she wants to keep separate categories socially, but she may be tempted.
