I think you'd be shocked to know how many doctors are addicts. I think it's something like 38%? That's just doctors. Nurses, other staff. There is a dark side to hospitals and what goes on behind the scenes. My cousin is a doctor, working ER Psych as we speak. And yes, during his internship, he developed a coke problem. Coke, Addy, Ritilian, and liquor are huge things for doctors and nurses. The hours, the loneliness...
This does not surprise me. It barely makes me think twice. It actually serves to why I believe this person is telling the truth. That this is real, not a troll.
But he has to know not to ask this woman out. She's high, right now. She'll come down. She'll be creeped too when he calls. I overshare to the hospital staff when I'm there. You're sick, you're scared...

i don’t know me personally if it’s strictly business and i didn’t really vibe with the person it’s social media or email only. if i give out my number i vibed and wouldn’t mind seeing the person again

I like coke as much as the next guy who likes coke, but you're supposed to be a medical professional who was not only up all night, but was also working under the influence. I'm not judging your drug use, but I certainly have issues with your ethics, discernment, and maturity. If any of this story is true.

I said you can talk to her about networking. But don't ask her out, that will come off as creepy. I always overshare to hospital staff, especially when I'm alone. I'm scared, I'm sick. I trust you.
That would be a big way to violate my trust, asking me out. I had an EMT come back to the hospital to visit me. I thought it was sweet, at first. But then he revealed he was there hoping to ask me on a date. I was so angry. I felt violated. And he didn't do anything wrong up until that point.
And then I had to yell at him, it became awkward. I told my nurse what he did. It would not surprise me if he got fired. I was there, essentially, I had passed out. Just dehydration, luckily, but still. I trusted this person as he picked me up, buckled me in, shined lights on me in the ambulance. Whatever else they did.
It's a special kind of violation you feel when a medical professional oversteps their boundaries. Network all you want, please. Keeping it professional is important. But, since that EMT driver, I get afraid now.
