Are you getting drunk because of nerves? Do you think you have a drinking problem? Setting a limit before you arrive to the bar can help.

“Ok let’s just get two drinks and some food?” Then she agrees and you two are on the same page. Now you’ve also opened up a line of communication about how drunk you’re going to get. Stay on par with her.

Say you both finish your two drinks, but you two are still having a good time. “Should we get one more?”

Keep following this, checking in with her after every drink. At some point you should be able to pick up when she’s done drinking at the bar. At which case just say some thing like “should we get out of here then?”

Stop drinking that much. I stay sober totally or have like one or two glass of wine. If you’re flirting with a girl and drinking together, try touching her, holding hands, kissing. Receptiveness to this will show you there’s a path to sex. Just keep watching her face to make sure she’s enjoying everything.

But yeah I would just try to escalate physically. You often don’t know the situation just from appearance and you want to see if she likes you putting your hands on her to move forward. Going to need to do this anyway for sex.
