U are just in the "too good to be true" denial phase, good things are happening, and if u expected failure, it becomes easy to deny your own successes. You held off on texting her back for another date(smart), and she reached out to invite you over, she obviously wanted to escalate. Most times a woman that is already interested has u at her place or yours, sex is on her mind, it's almost bad manners not to do it at that point. You didn't nessecarily mess up by not taking it all the way, it just opens up 2 different outcomes...if she is looking for ltr, she may be even more into you, if she is looking for action, she could have went on her smartphone and easily found some elsewhere. This is why it's important to have multiple options, u don't have to worry about whether u screwed up or not with one particular girl when u got others to call.

Having options is exactly what gains even more options, but everyone needs to start somewhere, getting from 0 to 2+ is the hardest part. This is where u walk and talk like u are getting laid every night and morning even if u are not. For better or worse, women want competition, if u can't offer that, u can create the illusion. If a girl asks if u are seeing anyone, lie your ass off and say there is a couple women u talk to and u are waiting to see who shows the most effort. If you have to challenge her to outwork competitors that don't exist, so be it. Over time when u get a few women to date, this will no longer be a lie.
