Same here. My first wife left me for a complete loser because he had a company BMW. We were 24 then. After I met an amazing woman now married for 40 years and love her to bits more each day. We became successful in every which way and looking gorgeous. All the goodness was waiting for me and didn't know it at the time.

That might be in your favor… she may want to come back to you (if you choose to even accept her). Or it might just jog your thought process into realizing that is she really likes this guy who’s so much more messed up than you, uglier etc…. Maybe her standards are way lower than yours and maybe your standards are so much higher and it’s time to find someone even better..

Have had that happen to me 2x in relationships and i never got back together with them and it always worked out in my favor by finding someone better!

I'm sick of people who try to underestimate an introverted personality, like WTF? I once was told that I got everything (good looking, intelligent, etc) but I don't have a personality. I mean come on, everyone has a personality, it's just that people tend to prefer extroverted personality but that doesn't mean everyone does and for sure it doesn't mean someone else's personality is awful.

I heard about this shark and penguin theory from the comedian Patrice O Neal. He basically compares men and women to sharks. The female shark feels inferior to the male shark and wants to date a penguin to feel empowered and to hopefully lower the self esteem of the male shark. However she ends up resenting the penguin, eating him, then going back to a real shark because her nature demands her to be with a male shark.

It’s a hilarious and kind of a dumb comparison but I’ve seen it many times before and it kind of makes sense since women now a days or more entitled and have bigger egos now.

Who cares? why do you care about the other guys personality and looks so much? You’re not a better man than he is and vice versa; he’s just living his life running his own race same with your ex. What she does or who she dates doesn’t matter bro, if you really wanna focus on improving yourself don’t look down on other people especially your fellow man.
