I would say if a women is pretty needy I don’t think you’d lose attraction but she may start texting you or expect a text from you. Which may deflate her or question if you like her.

I've asked women if they prefer texting between dates. None seem super for or against but do appreciate some contact if there's a long wait between the date and when it's agreed to
Also a case by case basis, I feel, especially if you have enough rapport established
