That said, it’ll be a mixed bag. If you slide through a nice winery in a huge city, it’ll be hit or miss like any other social setting. I’d recommend that you really know your shit if that’s how you want to go about it.

At a smaller winery or a wine bar, you might have chance with some of the wine moms.

Just remember to dress nice—don’t put on a fucking suit—smell nice, and be charming.

Going to a winery can be great. First, it can be fun for you. Many of the ones I go to include tours and tastings with a sommelier. They can teach you a lot about wine varieties and pairings. It'll give you some extra small talk to use. You will run into many people including some single women out for girl's weekends and such. The most important is just to have fun! The rest will come to you.

You're overthinking this. Go out anywhere and talk to older women, and your youth alone will push you up a couple points. There are lots of older women who go out anywhere- not exclusive to wine tasting
