It depends on what you're comfortable with.

When I started nightgaming I had a cringy script and would just open every girl with "hey saw you over there and had to say hi so hi".

Overtime when I got more comfortable I'd use whatever was there to start conversation like what she was wearing or her dancing, make fun of her for it and then take it from there.

Ultimately it's more effective to use your surroundings to open a girl as it feels more natural and her guard is down but in order to get there you have to do the trial and error which involves messing up alot.

OP you will mess up ALOT but let yourself mess up.

Ive been reading this sub and it looks like some people encourages using direct while others prefer indirect.

Instead of reading you should be out there field testing and taking notes, then sharing it here to see where you could improve. Theorycrafting will only go so far.

read the game by neill strauss. You will realize these canned openers dont always go the way you want them to and then you get flustered and dont know what to say. This is teh problem with how pick up artists teach people game. Game is basically being able to talk to anyone at any time rather than a predetermined script that will get girls to want to fuck you. Literally just open to every person in your day to day life you come in close proximity with. It will bring down social anxiety when you find a girl who is actually attractive, you will be better at riffing during conversations and they will flow more naturally(think Joe rogan type flow of conversations) and get used to convos being unpredictable. Its less about the opener and more about the next 3-5 sentences exchanged afterwards that will let the girl decide whether she is interested in you or not. Just don't open with anything stupid like "hey nice tits" and you should be fine.

Flip her off, stick your tongue out, say to her " your mom said you were lonely" , wink at her,....jk these are extreme but could work lol but actually go indirect as it casts the widest net but ideally subcoms direct so grin ,smile or strong eye contact loud voice .
