As a rule of thumb, if shes with you on a date, she likes you and you can kiss her. Regarding how to go about it. Actively look her in the eyes and imagine being aroused by her, she will notice, if she still looks at you back, just go for the kiss, gently grab her by the chin and make out with her. She might turn her head, which means you have been rejected, it's not a big deal, sometimes she just needs more time, create more opportunities where you are both aroused and laughing and try again. No girl is ever offended by you trying to kiss her. They take it as a compliment. But at the same time, try to understand the difference between a not yet and a NO.

Relax. Part of being young is realizing it's ok to want things and make moves and the decisions to enable those desires to happen. You'll have to get past the fear of your feelings being known and accept that not everything you want or do will be appreciated.

When a girl makes a move on you it stuns a lot of young or inexperienced guys. Sort of a cognitive dissonance caused by the realization that girls get horny and want to fuck too.

I had the same thing happen to me a couple times in high school
