well done, and also well done for gaining confidence. Onwards and upwards now.

Can confirm.

word, not surprised that worked. as a girl, i can say that that one of the most attractive things a guy can do is to be up front about being interested in a coy way (and eye contact is the best way to do that), it pretty much always works on me haha

Sorry but Im not native english speaker, what does this sentence means? Do you like guys to look you on the eyes for long periods without being shy is that it?

I think she means she likes when guys show their interest in her without being too direct about it.

Still dont get what that has to do with eye contact!

Pro tip, if you feel the urge to break eye contact, look between her eyes instead of looking away.

Or eyebrows or upper cheeks.
[–]novaksnow -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Break eye contact why? Cause feeling tired or shy? Or cause she looked away?
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Eye contact feels exhilarating for me, and I guess that just goes to show my lack of experience. However, when I'm talking to somebody that I'm attracted to, I lock eyes extremely hard and rarely ever let it go. I had a girl once tell me that I need to stop that because she found it ridiculously attractive and mesmerizing. I'll work on holding eye contact with random, attractive, female strangers from now on though.
I will do the same, but is a little hard to maintain focus when they clearly are enjoying that look and give you that little shy smile.

Should you smile when holding eye contact?
[–]DJwoo311 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Yes. I know the exact feeling you're talking about, or at least some variation of it. When I was first experimenting with eye contact, there was this instance with a girl and I immediately felt it click. Kind of a shame it was my best friends girl, whom I hadn't met yet. Incredible feeling though.

Ah sorry to hear that. But that feeling is addictive. I want it again. Im constantly on the lookout for an opportunity to do it.
[–]novaksnow 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
After I read your post I did it like 3 times.
And havent done much before!

When you stop looking at her? When she stops looking at you where do you look?
[–]bexpert 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
You don't break eye contact until she does first (easier said than done) and when she stops looking you don't look anywhere else, you use your feet and walk towards her.

Sounds like solid advice but this didnt apply to me at this time as I knew I was gonna meet her in a few
[–]bexpert 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Oh yeah, when you're in a warm-approach situation it's even better. The don't break eye contact part until she does part still applies.
Nice advices!
Does going towards her works in trains?
[–]bexpert 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes. Always be approaching. Just keep in mind that on the train she may feel cornered so make her feel comfortable and watch out for signals that she wants you to leave her alone, but otherwise go for it.

I usually look up and then away because I once read that looking down could make you seem insecure and in turn unattractive. Although I do sometimes look down to check them out of I know they're watching, then make eye contact again, whichever builds loads of sexual tension.

You didn't use some magic strategy here. You happened to look at a lonely girl at the right time who happened to find you cute, at a wedding with no other men her age.
Going to a club and simply making eye contact, is not going to get you the same magic results. It's a little bit luck, and mostly it's: * be attractive * don't be unattractive
