Thanks for the kind words guys! I'll keep at it and be sure to experiment with different strategies to see what works best for me.

I ask about isolating because the biggest barrier really did seem to be friends. Either a friend would interject and start whispering to my target, clearly asking something like "Is this guy annoying you? Do you want me to bail you out? Are you sure?" (with varying degrees of bitchiness) or my target's friends would move to another part of the bar as a group and she would inevitably follow her friends as they walked off.

So how do I combat this and prevent my target's friends from ruining my efforts?

As soon as you get her warmed up to you, BOOM, isolate. Especially with cockblocking friends around.

But I thinking you're looking at the night as failure rather than an adventure. You literally got better at approaching, better at kino'ing, and better at dealing with external shit. (If you can't warm them up to you, try to isolate the girl.)
