That's bullshit advice. "Don't fuck it up" is the single most destructive mindset when it comes to girls. All it achieves is putting unnecessary pressure on OP and slingshots him straight into a scarcity mindset. Yo OP, here's my two cents - FUCK IT UP. Not as în take your dick out and start pissing on her or anything, but stop thinking about making it work. She already likes you, stop stressing about it. Let the chips fall where they may. There are two possible explanations to this.
One: you are coming off wrong, so the girls put out the "I have a boyfriend card" to let you off without drama. This might stem from being too nice, or coming off as a creep.
Two: your "hunting grounds" are too small/lack the proper variety that for instance bars and clubs have.
I can't believe that every girl in your area is taken, except you are looking for them in school for instance. Which is where my knowledge ends, since the last time I saw a school from the inside is about 20 years in the past.
When I go out, and approach women, I get this boyfriend thing often enough, but also I meet many women that are single. The funny thing is, I had it not only once that girls who claimed to be taken, still made out with me, so I can only guess if they were testing me or it was true,since I actually don't really care if it's the truth or not.
My plans next? No clue
Whatever you do, just don't become her theraoist by texting her 24/7. Get her out on a date ASAP, do something active, not just sitting around somewhere, make the date awesome by showing her your awesome lifestyle.
