Normally, I would have just swiped left and moved on, but this bio is so endemic of certain groups in Sydney, I thought I should post this as a PSA of sorts.
FYI, the woman is white, 34, 5'5, blonde, lives in the Eastern Suburbs ($$$) describes herself as a "policy writer" and is a HB6 on her best photo.
About Me
I am a happy Sydney girl that has a positive outlook on life. I am very lucky to have a great family, a good job and a social life that most people would envy.
I have an active lifestyle but I don't do any sports. I am slim and take a lot of pride in my appearance.
I am a story teller and people find me very entertaining. When i return from annual leave, people at work tell me how much they missed me.
I am proud of my achievements (and I have achieved a lot in my life) but I don't usually tell people about them or boast. I am a go-getter. I am not scared to do things, or do things alone if no one is interested in joining me.
I am a person who likes doing things. If I go on a holiday, I will climb the mountain, visit and museums and art galleries, go down a mine, go on a brewery tour, go down tunnels, do the cooking class, go on a bike tour, etc. My holidays are active and I like to experience everything or most of what a place has to offer.
I love learning new things and could happily spend my life mastering new skills. When I get time off work, there is so much I want to do. If I did not have to work, I would be always busy.
I treat people with respect. When I give someone my word, I honor it. When I make plans with someone, I stick to them (rather than cancel at the last minute.because I got a better offer). If I owe someone money, I pay them back. I take responsibility for my own behaviour and admit when I'm wrong. I have a lot of emotional intelligence and can see thing from other people's point of view.
I am authentic. I don't play games and am not manipulative. I am not phony nor do I pretend to be nice. If I compliment you, it is really genuine. I say things the way they are. I am the person who verbalises what everyone else is thinking.
I like helping people and have assisted lots of people in my life. People describe me as very kind. I don't expect anything in return but if you treat me with disrespect, you will no longer be part of my life, even if you try after a few years to contact me and pretend like nothing happened.
I am a strong woman and I am looking for a strong man who is smart enough to value a person like me. A person would have a really good life with me because I am so much fun and have so much to offer.
I just want to meet someone normal and my equal. I am ONLY interested in caucasian men that are SINGLE, NEVER MARRIED, with NO KIDS who are aged 34 to 42 with a university degree who live within 10km of me (preferably Eastern Suburbs). You also must have a proper job. Not interested in 'entrepreneurs' who have not had a business or made any money and have been on the dole for most of their life.
I only want to date a man who is my EQUAL. I am sick of men who have no idea what their worth is on the market and try to date every girl online looking for a girl that is completely out of their league. No woman wants a man who is not worthy of her. There are too many arrogant men out there who think they are fantastic but have little going for them. I want a man with self-awareness who dates women at his level and gets to know them first before moving on to the next one.
I am not here just to chat and don't have time for mindless conversations. Some of you have a habit of wasting a girl's time chatting with no intention of dating. If you are serious, you will ask me out on a date. I am also not interested in talking to men that are travelling or are overseas. It is such a waste of my time when there is no prospect of ever meeting. If your(sic) not in Sydney, I won't talk to you.
Most of you seem to be very lonely and get annoyed with me for not engaging in long conversations online. I do not understand why you do this and not want to ask someone out on a date. I delete all time wasters who have not asked me out on a date after one week.
Please don't contact me if you are outside my criteria. I get contacted by far too many of you and I actually want to meet someone, not spend all day on this app.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I would like a man to make an effort for the first date and do a bit of research and select a nice venue. Too often men just show you that they do not even care about you by selecting the pub nearest to their home, a pub full of drunkards, a busy cafe or a venue that is not even open!
I would also like a man who will genuinely take the time to get to know me on a date, not sit there and make arrogant comments, like 'what do you have to offer me'. or talk about how fantastic he is and how much money he has. Your imaginary money or possessions do not impress me much. It is disturbing to see men behave like this when they are nothing to look at and look old for their age. I am sitting there hoping that their personality will compensate for their poor appearance and they show me that they have no redeemable qualities. Men need to buy themselves a mirror and eat some humble pie before a date.
I am also tired of men that date lots of women on online dating sites and wait for something spectacular to happen on the first date. Nothing will when you don't make an effort and get to know someone properly over a couple of dates. Further, the girl who will be spectacular is out of your league and does not want you. During my parents generation, people did not date so many people, yet they managed to find loving relationships. Your compatible with one in eight women in your age group etc. Stop dating so many and get to know the few well.
I mean, wtf? Does this woman sound as much of a nightmare as I think she does, or am I too sensitive?
