Start by approaching/talking to random people you are more comfortable with - people in elevators, coffee barista, grocery store checkout person, etc. Just have casual, no-pressure convos like those and you'll slowly feel more confident talking to randoms. Then continue building to more women, including ones you find attractive

One step at a time man. Don't even worry about getting numbers yet that's too far ahead. Your only problem right now is to worry about walking up to people and just saying something. Try that with hired guns, workers, classmates and try to get a lil bit more confident doing it. Then you can switch over to random people.

My advice is to look for available girls to approach. Or in other words green. To me it's a advanced thing to approach red or yellow girls. But than again you still have to have your style good etc.
