Aim to get their number in the first 3-4 messages and setup a date ether that day or the next, just for coffee. Personally, I don’t give a shit about the number though, sometimes I’ll wait till the end of the first date to get it.
You’re main priority is to set up a date asap. And as for the matching, just do it whenever.

I guess it depends on how much effort and time you’re willing to put aside for someone you’ve never met. For me, personally, I need to know if the person is worth perusing before I make any real plans to take them out.
Side note: I’ve never been friend zoned from a coffee date.

I wouldn’t count on an 18yo to act so quickly, you’d most likely have to put in some extra time before asking them out. Mid 20s is a different story, women around that age already have experience and know what to expect.

Okay what about when it comes to 18-21 like what’s the timeline then?
You could get the number pretty quick, but setting up a date can be a hit or miss. A lot of women around that age are unpredictable when it comes to this shit, so don’t beat yourself up if they suddenly flake. If your texting game is solid, then you could probably pull off asking them out after 48hrs. But if you’re not confident enough, give yourself an extra 24hrs.
I make an effort not to spend more than 72hrs on a match.
