With all due respect this is the dumbest shit ever when people play mindgames like this. If you feel a certain way, especially if you are a woman, just be straightforward about. Don't say "It was nothing more than sex" when you are literally saying you like him. Life is way too short to be saying one thing when you feel another way. This is ridiculous. I mean really, what kind of advice do you expect here? This seems blatantly straightforward.

I'm sorry but it's your fault. He's obviously fine with making you his girlfriend. You're just manipulative right now and sending him the wrong signals. And I know that you are afraid that he might only want you for sex, but I'm pretty sure it's not the case. Him talking with you all the time and drunk texting you makes it pretty clear that he actually digs you and sees you more than a ONS.

The problem is that from what you shared with us, I can tell that he might genuinely think that you're the one who only saw him as a ONS and then you talked about being just friends because he has shown that he has feelings for you, which would be against your deal from a year ago.

How do I know?

I firmly put him in his place, told him if he really thought of me as a friend he would stop disrespecting my wishes and treat me like a friend.

There's no way he doesn't think he's in the friendzone now. You have to fix this fuckup real quick because he will either pull away from you, or start acting awkwardly.

And don't wait for him to do it. I know you're letting out signals that you are interested in him romantically, but he might not see those. Guys are different. To us, what matters the most is what you tell us. You told him that you want him to respect your friendship, so he naturally thinks that he's in the friendzone. You have to let him know that you are indeed interested in him romantically. That means bringing it up by yourself and telling him that you wanna go on a date when possible. And do call it a date.

After that, don't talk about it, just keep talking as you usually do and wait for the lockdown to be over.
