My train was in 2 minutes. It was then that I saw her. I knew that I didn't have enough time to chat with her if I wanted to make my train. So I walked up to her and went to my go to line taken from Tim Ferriss' book The Four Hour Workweek:

"Hey, I know this will sound strange, but if I don't ask you now I will be regretting it for the rest of the day. I'm running to catch a train but you are really cute. Would you like to go for drinks sometime?"

And just like that she said sure and gave me her number. I caught the train and texted her immediately once I got on. After two texts with her I asked her on a date and she said yes.

I got a date lined up in less than 30 seconds. This is why I never let up an opportunity, and always take the risk, regardless of the chances.

Different environments call for different attitudes. Walking in the street: immediate game. Sitting on the train: light banter. But I have noticed that the success rate between immediate game and light banter isn't much different.
