Hi Seddit,

First off, a short intro on myself: 20 yr old college student who recently lost a bit of weight, gained some self esteem, and started looking for ways to continue to improve myself as a person. Long time lurker, first time poster. Came upon the seduction community a while back and been using the concepts in situations other than dealing with women (some inner/behavioral stuff for my aspiring career goals etc... helped me get the internship of my dreams next summer.. thanks!) and decided to take the next step and use the concepts for what they are ultimately intended for. I've been reading up a lot of what's posted here (yes including the sidebar + listening to videos) and want to put things into practice.

Decided to take this implementation with a small step: being able to make comfortable eye contact with a woman and hold it confidently with a smile until she breaks. I can do the eye contact with people i'm not attracted to during convo or anything well... but with women I think are attractive it's a different story. Trying to get over that.

Problem: When I seek the eye contact, I can pull this off and then roll on. When I do not and it HAPPENS SPONTANEOUSLY (woman and I happen to meet eyes by chance for a second) it always triggers the "flight" of the "fight or flight" in my brain that i've always been subconsciously (and consciously in the past) doing, and I look away never to look back. I've tried to purposely stop myself from doing this but it's proving difficult because i cannot tell when these spontaneous eye-locks will happen.

It's annoying. Am i too focused on getting over this? Has anybody else had this habit too ingrained? How'd you get it out? Another approach?

Thanks a lot
