I have a bit of a situation and can’t tell if it’s all in my head or if I blew a very high-percentage lead, so any feedback here would be greatly appreciated. The story: a couple weeks ago, a very beautiful girl that I’ve been trading looks with for months now actually gave her phone number to someone at the desk to give to me. Naturally I was beyond excited, but didn’t text her right away because I wanted to speak in person. I introduced myself the next time I saw her and then texted her a couple days later. This seemed to escalate slightly into now we talk pretty much every day, do cardio together and whatnot. So slowly progressing. Last weekend I decided to text her after a little bit of drinking (never a good idea) but I think I flipped the script because I tried to escalate things a bit (nothing too crazy but I did vocally express interest). I’m still seeing her every day like before and we’re texting a bit more, but she seems a bit apprehensive at my escalation attempts. Writing it out it seems like it’s in my head, but what can I do here to succeed in escalating? Thanks all!
