I'll try and refrain from keeping this too long, there are never "one-size-fits-all" answers.
I matched with a girl on OkC a couple weeks ago and set up a coffee date not too long after. The first attempt at the date she had to reschedule last minute (in her defense, she asked to meet two hours later, but I had work, so she offered me another day that worked for her). We met 4 days later and things actually went quite well. She is adorable and an absolute sweetheart. I've met very few girls like her. I know, I know, avoid the "oneitis" mindset. But I've met enough girls to know you don't come across ones like her often. We made great conversation for 2 hours before I had to leave for work. I felt we both got a solid feel for each other and things overall flowed pretty smoothly. I hugged her goodbye (I wasn't sure how I felt about a kiss.. there wasn't much room for escalation / touching in the date, and she's pretty old fashioned to begin with. ah well) and we went on our ways. I get out of work and find a message from her saying she had a nice time and wishing me a good rest of the night. Okay, cool. She hasn't been one to message first up to this point. Anyhow, we continue occasionally snapping each other over the course of a few days. I don't want to over-do it, but I still feel I may have enjoyed the conversations too much, if that's a thing? I was into them more than she was. I'm not outright snapping her all the times by any means, but I feel like I could have done less and appeared more.. "mysterious" for lack of better terms.
Anyhow, even a few nights ago, while she was under the influence of some wine, she was snapping me quite a bit. We had a fun playful conversation, and she acted all upset when I went to bed. Later the very next day, I messaged her asking what her schedule was looking like the rest of the week with the intention of asking her on a second date. She opened the message, didn't respond. She snapped me something random about her cat waking her up about 30 minutes later. I gave her a sort of half ass response and went to work. I come back from work to a few more snaps, but ones she probably sent to her other friends as well. Nothing about me asking her schedule. Last night, I get a bunch of snaps from her while she was out at some event with her co-worker. They all seemed like snaps she sent to a group of people, so I don't respond to any of them. I don't plan on contacting her at all this weekend. Should I still ask her to grab some lunch / go on a hike or whatever with me sometime next week when I do contact her again? I just feel weird about it given she straight up didn't tell me her schedule when I asked despite her showing interest all up to that point. I'll give her some distance for awhile, but in your opinions, should I try one last time to set up a second date after 3 or 4 days of no contact?
