Met a girl last week. Built some real attraction before the weekend started so I supposed I developed an emotional connection to this girl as well. K-closed on the weekend, my game was on point.

The next day I hung out with her and she told me she just got out of a bad relationship and "wasn't looking to see anyone". I don't give a shit whether or not that is true [im self aware enough to know it probably isn't (and don't go off about valuing yourself cause im a fucking cool guy :) )].

What I want to know is did I do the right thing. She said she wanted to see what happens.. being very vague and but said we should still hang out. I asserted that although I'd still like to be her friend we wouldn't hang out in the same capacity/intensity that we were over the weekend. She asked why and I said that I couldn't have her monopolizing my time; that I have needs that need to be respected [not just a sex thing].

So my question(s) would be: 1. Was I too harsh? 2. Is this going nowhere? 3. How can I behave attractively in a friend capacity to make sure I am keeping girls in my life around me interested? [salvage techniques boys] 4. How can I better handle these situations in the future?

I appreciate you all, without this resource I would be miserable at this [truth]
