I've never really liked texting with girls, or anyone for that matter other than to ask for something, specially because of how long people may take to answer, but i see my buddies and their current girlfriends text a lot (even since before they started dating), so my question here is. Is it necessary to mantain some banter over text in order to get the girl? Should i invest more time in talking with people over text? I'm more of a face to face kind of guy, but you can't always be with women you are interested, and i think it may be important to give them a reason to think of you.
